Peoples Gmc Pontiac Buick Www.peoplesgmc.com Scammers! Very Dishonest! Don't buy from these people! Las Vegas Nevada

I went to see the dealership where we bought our truck for its first warranty repair. We bought a 2002 Land Rover Discovery from Peoples GMC Pontiac Buick or www.peoplesgmc.com in June of 2006, here are the things I found out and what they lied about:

1) Repair - Finance Manager said I can take the Land Rover to any repair shop via the extended warranty we purchased >> LIES!! I went there today 02/13/08, thinking that since I bought it from them, they should get the first shot at my return business. Instead, I was told that they wouldn't even touch it and I should go to a Land Rover dealership, I can take it to any repair shop they said? LIARS!!

2) Warranty - Vehicle had 41,016 miles when we bought it and the Finance Manager explained that warranty will end at 116,016 miles or 5 years, whichever comes first. The truth is, warranty will expire when the odometer reaches 75,000. They did not have the guts to tell me that I am paying $2,200 to have a warranty only worth 34,000+ miles.

3) New Brakes - We were told that the truck had a thorough inspection and things that need to be replaced or fixed were taken care of before it was taken in as a trade-in, after only 12,000+ miles, the front brake discs needed to be replaced, DISCS! Not PADS! A $500 expense!


I found out that the company was bought and they were moving across the street, this old location or address will be Peoples Mazda Mitsubishi soon. Regardless, these sales and finance people at the Peoples group of car dealerships should never be trusted with your hard earned money, buy somewhere else.
