Peoples Health Express Saturday Holdings Inc Health plan scam through Discover Network merchant service Sunrise , Florida

I am a Hair Stylist who booth rents my station, so we all have our own merchant numbers. When I was online banking, I noticed the fee I'm normally charged from Discover Network, is usually about $2.00, instead $41.21 and was taken out by Discover Network Type: Settlement Co: Discover Network.

I called Discover Merchant Services, Ph. 800-347-2000, they told me it was their "partner company" that charged me $39.95 of that charge, for some "health plan". They gave me the number to Peoples Health Express, Ph. 800-319-5243. I called the number and they said that they had recorded authorized permission to sign me up for this health plan. I asked to listen to the recording. What they did was they called the salon and got the owner, who is not authorized on my account, to say yes to, that was her name and yes to, them sending her information. They took those yes answers and did some creative editing into a recording that gave them unauthorized permission to steal this money out of my account!

Enraged, I asked for a full refund, they said they would give me a full refund. I asked if I would see this refund in my account the next day. I was told that I wouldn't receive my refund until the normal charges by Discover Network were done, which would be 30 days away. That is, coincidentally, is how long you have to dispute it at your bank, after that the bank couldn't get it back for you. I told them I was going to dispute this at my bank, she told me that the bank couldn't do anything. That is not true, the bank returned my money the same day that I disputed this!

When I disputed this with my bank they then blocked Discover and their "partner company" from taking any money out of my account. Because when I called Discover Network to try to discuss my account issues with them selling my merchant number to these scammers, they tried to defend the scammers. So I closed my account with Discover Network, as I could not trust them not to sell me out again!

I have filed complaints with the Better Business Bureau, and the Federal Trade Commission. If everyone that has had this done to them would file complaints maybe they would be at least, be investigated, if not stopped!
