I received a letter with a 1400.00$ check attached from People's Voice Market Research Group A Subdivision of Ace Charitable Foundation. The letter stayed I was selected to be a secret shopper in my area, which is Indiana, and to contact John Carter to activate the check. I would have to spend 1100.00$ of the money and the other 300.00$ was my salary. I called the number and spoke with him and then I called the bank where the check came from which was Bank of America. The bank verified the check and they told me it was a good account and to deposit it. I waited a week to call John Carter to make sure the check had posted. John then told me to go to Wal-Mart and go to the Money Gram department. He then proceeded to tell me to wire 1000.00$ to Monica Smith in New York, New York as my first assignment. After I was finished I called John back and the same Monica Smith that I had wired the money to answered the phone, I then told them I was done and not to send me anything else. The next day the 1078.00$ came out of my account along with the 1400.00$ check! It was a forged check that me, my bank, and the Bank of America didn't catch in time. I then called John and told him what had happened and he played stupid. I now am -900.00$ in the bank that I now owe out off my pocket. If you get any secret shopper letter in the mail please just throw it away for your own sanity.
