PepBoys Pep Boys does not back work or care about ones life miami, Florida

i will leave some details out as teh real report i filed with pepboys, case #129524 is what i filed to them on 7/29/2012

I had taken my car to pepboys to get a power steering pump issue looked at and fixed.  they found the pump faulty and replaced it as well as the belt.  after getting the car back it had more issues with the steering and such and never drove or felt correct again.  i had taken the car into the shop multiple times to only come out each time disappointed or let down.

from the time of the replacements to the incident i shall describe only 300 miles had lived on my vehicle.

on june 13 i took it in one last time for an evaluation and again i was let down.

on july 11th a mere 500 or so miles later my car took a turn for the worse.  the pulley to teh power steering pump came off and with it shattered the serpentine belt.  i was on a highway with dangerous curves in a now useless car, the force of the pulley and belt coming off in turn damaged the water pump and as i now drive in a powerless car with no power steering or brakes i was forced to fight or flight and after several attempts managed to get the car off the road into a ditch.

i had to have the car towed and when i got to the shop it was not pretty, that simple incident cost my engine to blow and with that all the other issues that come along with that.  i was on vacation and forced to buy a new car.

i contacted pepboys to advise them of my issue and it took forever to get  a reply.  when i did they asked for some photos and where the car was.  I advised that it was traded in and they acted like that was an issue and i should have held onto it just for them.

after waiting a wgile they replied back that the photos of damage were inconclusive and they found they did nothing wrong and sorry , and where can they send a letter to to advise they decline a claim.

i provided an address and wouldn't you know it now some 4 months later i still have yet to receive that letter.

every time i have corresponded with them it is with their claims agent, a lady named Rebecca Puchalski, who i am assuming is paid to say nothing is wrong, pep boys did no wrong.  they provided no states of fact, no idea that they tried to look into this and they found nothing wrong.

well who are they and do they even have a clue what to do or are they just puppets on a string.

WHO did the investigation? PEPBOYS!

OUTCOME? SURPRISE! THEY FOUND THEMSELVES INNOCENT!

Did they contact us to get further details? NO!

this company nearly cost me my life, is ignorant, and cost me over 7000 dollars that i will never get back, not mention the car i loved being destroyed, blown up and a ruined vacation.

i refuse to ever ship there again and suggest all to avoid them, they clearly are an evil corporation set only on making a profit and ruining lives.

if they actually cared i would have gotten that letter they promised and we would have found a way to fix this. 

i am now on here hoping to get their attention and hoping some compensation is brought forwrad to me.  i am looking at a suit, but i travel so much i would have to put my life on hold yet again for these worthless sacks of slime called manny, moe and jack

i hope their business drops and they lose more customers

 To understand the photos of a sheared off pulley,
destroyed belt and a damaged system are not enough to prove what?
 It is quite clear that there is permanent damage and your
company is the last group to touch under the hood.
