 They sign you up for a 30 day wash pass and do not inform you that it is a recurring charge and refuse to refund money even if the service has been unused. I thought it was a good deal at 34 dollars for a month of washes. On my final day of use, at the end of the 30days, I asked the attendant if it was in fact my final day. He said that it was. I thought nothing more of it. I lost my car to a flood March 9, 2016. From that point I was laid off and my brother, a disabled veteran, was put into in home hospice and given 3 months to live. I became his primary caregiver and my funds became very limited. With all this I was not checking every transaction on my bank account. 2 months later, today, I noticed a 34 dollar charge. I saw what it was for and contacted the car wash to explain that I was not made aware it is a recurring charge. I was told they normally do not refunds, but they would cancel it and I could still wash my nonexistent car for 30 more days. I spoke to the owner who became very rude and hung up on me. I tried explaining the issue and was told the attendant did not know anything, even though he went inside to verify my last day of service with the owner. She said the ONLY way to cancel service was to call the number on the receipt, which they conveniently do not give to you. The way they charge your card is a transaction method that does not allow for your bank to charge back the funds. In essence the owner does not care about the customers she rips off and seems very knowledgeable in how to scam people out of extra money even if the service is not used. Avoid like the plague. Go down the street to another car wash that does not do this to people.

 The recurring charge for monthly unlimited washes is, in fact, advertised as such. It's is also advertised as a fee of which you can opt out after your first month if you choose not to use the service anymore.

I was contacted by Performance Car Wash and we were able to come to an amicable agreement to address the issue that i experienced. The owners contacted me back in a courteous manner and we worked out the obvious communication problem. They will be sure to let people know when they sign up for the monthly car wash package that it is recurring unless otherwise specified. 

 

I am very happy they contacted me and helped to resolve the issue. Other than the problem with the recurring charge their service is great and while I used the car wash I did enjoy the service and the bargain they provided on the monthly wash fee.
