Perry Miller Carpenter (aka Suzy Kerr) is the owner of Creative Custom Content (aka Damsel Publishing, PMC Content Solutions, and DPC Publishing). I began freelance writing for her in Feb. 2013 after responding to an ad on Craigslist. In the beginning, I was paid for my work through PayPal, though payments were somewhat sporadic.
I continued to work for Perry through Feb. 2014, even though she owed me a sizable amount of money for my articles ($2200). I believed she would pay me, because I considered us to have a friendship beyond on our working relationship. However, she never did pay, even after I won a small claims suit against her.
Today I googled her name and discovered several other writers she has scammed, with each of them also being owed a significant sum of money. Any freelance writers out there - do NOT write for this person. She talks a very good game, but she will not pay you the money you have earned.
