Persels & Associates / CareOne Credit Did not pay my creditors 75% legal fees of my mnthly pymnt Columbia Maryland

Do fall for there " we help you" line. Before I decided to go with this company I spoke to the same rep. three times. Each time I asked questions and had him repeat other information he had already discussed w/ me. I was informed that I would pay a monthly fee of 322.00, my creditor's will be contacted by letter that Persels was now representing me and to contact them for payment. I was also instructed not to contact my creditor's or pay them, because this would interfere with them working with my creditors. I was informed that the legal fees would be 5% of my monthly fee. I was informed that it would take up to 60 days before creditors would be paid.

So not true!! Four months into this I have been sued by one of my creditors for non payment. The other creditor informed me that when he did call Persels that I had no money (but 130.00) in my escrow account and a negotiation couldn't be made at this time not even a payment plan. Okay do the math I have paid 325.00 a month and 4 months of those payments I only have 130.00 in my account. The other money went to the attorney fees for those letters that were mailed out to my creditors. They don't even rep. you when you go to court.

I was never told about an escrow account and the 75% attorney fees. All that money could of gone to my creditors. This company is a scam!!!!! Please do tell your family and friends to stay clear of this company.
