I was in dire straights needing money.  I had lost my job several months before, my husband his as well.  we have a chronically ill child and medical bills were accumulating with the holidays fast approaching, I was desperate to find someone to loan me money.  Googling,  I ran across Personal Credit Services (PCS) - what a joke and farce!!!!

You will enter your info and submit; within an hour or two you will be told you have  "absolutely been approved" and they ask that you send in $99. for the referral fee and $1.00 that they donate to a charity of their choice.  WELL, AS FAR AS I'm CONCERNED THEY ENTIRE ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS SHOULD HAVE GONE TO CHARITY - MINE ... after submitting my payment - WHAT I RECEIVED BACK WAS ASTONISHING!!!

They send back a list of the biggest financial institutions going down to, I don't know - possibly some back alley loan sharks!  I was shocked to say the least - but being the desperate mother that I am - and I've already spent $99 dollars of the only $150.00 we have to our name; I optimistically start applying to:  Wells, Fargo, Citi Bank, Bank of America, Chase, Capital One ... and the list goes on.  After 3 hours sitting at the computer with denial after denial coming right back at me, I realize that I have been the biggest idiot of the year; and quite possibly the century.  To spare the details of how I was unable to feed my kids for the remainder of that week and how we had peanut butter for thanksgiving - thanks to a local food bank - I will tell you that PCS does not answer their phone.  It is a recording stating that you have to email them - they will not speak directly to you - after several emails asking for a refund - I was finally answered with - sorry about your luck.  "we did our part" and so on.

PEOPLE - TRUST ME - I UNDERSTAND DESPERATION AND I KNOW THE FEELING THAT YOU GET - THAT DEEP SIGH OF RELIEF WHEN YOU SEE THE WORDS YOU'VE BEEN APPROVED!!!!  but do not fall for it.  We all need to bombard the state of new york's attorney general, better business bureau and any and everyone else that can draw attention to this scam.   I do not know how Rick Dennison can look in the mirror and continue on.  He plays and toys with our emotions and probably lives in one of the finest homes in new york, driving one of the most expensive cars around and I'm sure they had a spectacular thanksgiving - thanks to all of us!!!!
