On 14 July 2015, my wife purchase a Pug/Pom for me as a gift. She took the puppy to our vet that same day. He was initially treated for a cold. When his cough became worse, our vet suspected kennel cough. When that treatment failed, our vet referred him to a veterinarian internal medicine specialist for a bronchoscopy. At that time our puppy was diagnosed with a resistant strain of pneumonia. We kept Ms. Hickey informed of every visit, procedure, and treatment. We have spent over $3,000 in vet fees and medications. Our puppy is now six months old and on a daily regimen of medications and nebulizing treatments. At this point, I understand we are not likely to receive any redress for our expenses, but we are very concerned about the animals coming to and leaving this establishment.
