#2 UPDATE EX-employee responds
There are THOUSANDS UPON THOUSANDS OF CUSTOMERS THAT HAVE BEEN RIPPED-OFF

The previous post is obviously someone on the side of the mother/daughter/family con-artist team that takes unknowing timeshare owners money, without any ability, or desire, or intention to deliver on their promises.
There are three CLASS-ACTION LAWSUITS in three states currently being built against this company, Phaedra Almstead, Barbara Mcvay, the Mayan Palace, and many other named co-conspirators.
There are 10's of thousands of customers that have been robbed by Phaedra, just do your research!!!!
This is how the scam works:
Mayan Palace sales people/managers can pick any Rental Company they want. Phaedra and her mother Barbara McVay and the Almstead family have relationships with people all over the Mexican Timeshare Scam Industry. Sunset Group, Mayan Palace, and more. Phaedra Almstead and Larry Peters (many aliases), make deals with the individual salespeople at the Mayan Palace to give them a kick back on the fee that a client pays to Phaedra.
So when someone is buying at the Mayan Palace, and the salesperson tells this unsuspecting victim that there purchase will be an "INVESTMENT" if they list it with a rental company, the are only giving them the name of Phaedras company, now luxury resort management, formerly resorts international marketing, they are making money off the deal.
EVERYONE involved knows that there is absolutely NO rental market, the weeks will never get rented.. EVERYONE IS LYING!!!!!
They even have someone named Michael Burke impersonating people on the internet.

Hello everybody i was never a member of this resorts international i hear so badly about but i have recently signed up with luxury resort management. You always hear scams about timeshare and they take your money or what not. Its funny though that the only people you hear complain are the people who had problems with there property. So what about all the other millions of people who do have timeshare?? maybe you just have bad luck or you dont follow up enough. luxury resort told me my property would rent in 60-90 days it took 110 days. so maybe they were off a little but they still filled up to what they said. Now tell me how that is a scam, they told me they would rent my property and they did. Also my grandma has been in timeshare for years and when i recenlty was in mexico when i bought my property they gave luxury management so i listed with them and told my grandma about it and she listed as well. She listed a few with them but her rental went quicker then mine hers was rented with in the 60 day period so also tell me thats a scam. It just seems like to many people just buy timeshare and know nothing about it, if you know nothing you will receive nothing. Yes they take you money up front but they use it for marketing her property or thats what they say. Anywase anybody who does read this dont belive all the bad remarks about what people have to say because they mean nothing think about the good thoughts. If you come in negative you will come out negative.
