WARNING to all:

If you buy a transmission you may not receive service after the sale. My transmission failed 11-24-04 and it is now 1-27-05 and still do not have a replacement.

Many calls many promises but to no avail.

I read other complaints and I truely understand their problems. I also did have trouble right from the beginning with getting unit shipped out.

I think the general manager role is diminished by bad employees under him. Since he is the General Manager that makes him incompetant. Also if he tells you that "VJ" is not in service do not beleive him. To this very day "VJ" answer's the phone when you call for service. If you can actually get someone to answer the phone. Many calls go unanswered except by an answering machine.

Everyone here we go again with Franks's response.

Read the other compalints and what Franks resonse was. Today he called being abusive and says since you complained then you will not get a transmission from us. I told him not acceptable and a refund would be only if it would make me hold again.

He offered $ 649.00 which was refuse then He offered later 1269.00 which also was refused.

My cash out of pocket due due his failure to deliver a merchantable product is $ 2069.00. That would be acceptable.

Today a lawsuit was drafted in Wallowa Count Circuit Court to recover that with attorney fees. Also today I received a phone call from another customer with a similar problem we likely will join forces to try to get what we are owed from Frank. Which is simply a merchantable product at the agreed upon price.

This morning Frank was abusive and rude on the telephone trying to force me to accept his terms.
He said I was blackmailing him Well think about it people. We customers all over America spend $ 2069.00 so that we can blackmail Frank.

Frank refuses to send tranny

Update 2-1-05 morning



As I told you before Frank does not tell the truth. He called me today so you see he does have records on me and did sell a transmission to someone in Oregon.

He was exteremely argumentitive. Was emotionally upset and not a stable person. Screaming and not rational.

He offered a refund of $650 which I promply refused. He had no explanation of why his people have failed since 11-24-04 to deliver on any promises they made.

I am telling you that to do business with this company can subject yourself to a very poorly ran company, owned by a highly unstable person, with employees that make promises but do not follow through.

Matt called and said he was refunding $ 1200 + dollars ( Frank only wanted to refund $ 650. ) which was refused. That would not make me whole. They have possession of not only my money but my transmission as well.

Money we are out:

$ 649.00 transmission
$ 250.00 core charge
$ 260.00 shipping
$ 450.00 Labor
$ 200.00 Labor
$ 260.00 shipping

$ 2069.00 Total spent so far ( not done yet )

After spending this much on this tranny so far we still do not have a working product.

As of today Frank refuses to send me a working transmission. He does not want to refund to amount I am out. Remember that I would not have been out that much but for his defective tranny.

So let sum it up.

Frank ays:

Frank say's I am black mailing him.
Frank says that I am the difficult one here.
Frank wants to refund only $ 650
Frank does now admit he did sell a unit to someone in Joseph, Oregon.

Matt says I will refund $ 1200+ now. ( offer refused)

I say:

Frank lies.
Frank is emotionally unstable.
General manager is imcompetent.
His people make promises and do not keep them.
You can actually buy a tranny from these people and end up with no money, no tranny , people actually trying to turn the tables and make kit my fault.

I finnaly figured out who this customer is who is writing these posts. He has called our company on 6 different occasions and made verbal threats to my GM and sales staff. I am sorry, but in this case I cannot and will not allow my employees to be verbally abused by this customer any longer. I called him today and let him know that we would be giving him a full refund including a labor allowance for his purchase with our company. He let me know that it is "bs" and I will not accept that. Well Mike, the buck stops here. I have given you a full refund back on your credit card. If you are still not satisfied, then I do not know how you will ever be. I would hope that you can be mature about this and stop with the endless harrasing phone calls and posts. We have not threatened you with legal action, but if you continue to harrass my employees and continue with your threats and blackmail attempts we will turn this into a legal issue!! Mike, I am sorry that we could not help you, but you have been refunded in full and hopefully you can find another transmission shop, someone else that can help and give you the answers that eveidentally we cannot give.

Your card was refunded in full!!! It should appear on your statement within 72 hrs..

Well Friday Matt called and wanted a call back Monday ( today) to get thing worked out. I called as follows:

#1. Message keep saying he was busy. Hold a while and he will be right with you. After 5 minutes hung up.

#2. Girl that answers phones said he would be in at noon.

#3. Called at noon she said he would be in at 1:00pm.

#4. Called at 1:00pm girl said " I don't know when he will be in ".

#5. Called at 2:00pm girl said he was in all day but just went home. Be back tommorrow.

This is not the first time a whole day of calling went for naught dealing with this company.

Anyway they were to ship unit last Friday after I filed first complaint. I have no information that they actually shipped inspite of telling empoyee to be sure to give me tracking # on Friday.

The saga marches on. I will give future updates.

Attn: everyone:

Frank is now reduced to throwing insults. He is a lier. I have on my caller id and message machine a message from Matt espressing concern that I have filed this report. He wanted me to call him Monday to try to get worked out.

So we can all know now that Frank the owner of this company does not tell the truth or how else would Matt from Phoenix Hard Parts have been able to refer to the ripp off report.

By the way shortly after filing the original report Phoenix Hard Parts person called to say that they will ship unit to me on Friday yesterday. Somehow I bet that when I call Matt Monday I will find out they did not ship. Why would they. Nothing else they have promised since 11-24-04 has been true.

Further I know for a fact that Frank was aware of this situation because I talked to the retail office to have Frank call me. When someone other than Frank called I called him back and asked why someone other than the owner called he said Frank does not deal with problems he has others do it for him. When he talked to Frank, Frank told him to have general manager handle.

So now we all now that Frank was aware ahead of this report of the seriousness of our situation and has chose to lie to us all publically about his knowledge of the situation.

If you read all of the complaints on Phoenix Hard Parts and on Phoenix Remanufacturing Transmissions you will soon notice reoccuring themes running through. Examples Include:

1. Answering machine service
2. Promises made but not honored
3. Warrantee issues
4. Shipping issues
5. I have in stock ship tommorrow ( but not)
6. Frank sometimes making some what OK responses to complaints but other times making outlandish claims and comments which are not conductive to getting issues resolved.
7. Units not tested with Dyno. If they were why were they bad on delivery?
8. New converters promised but used delivered.


My problems are summerized:

1. unit ordered but not delivered as soon as promised.
2. Warrantee issue come up within 60 to 70 days
3. They failed a number of times to call my tech to try to make sure something simple was not involved.
4. Finally after 45 days of back and forth they and us agree to pull unit and ship.
5. We pull unit and ship they were that day to ship one to me in return. They did not.
6. They even received my unit still they did not return another unit to me.
7. I called them to pressure their response was NOT " we are sorry we messed up" It was we are busy the best we can do is get one out when we can.
8. My response is that since 11-24-04 we have no service from you and I can no longer accept the treatment we have received. They said "do what you have to do".
9. I am doing it. This site is one area of action. I have also reported to:

a. Arizona Attorney General
b. Better Business Bureau ( inspite of the fact Frank is on the board)
c. Complaints.com
d. Comsumer Affairs.com
e. Appointment with my attorney Monday. Money in hand. Intend to file Oregon Practice Act violation. When you advertise nationwide venue can rest in Oregon in the county of consumer. Unless specifically agreed to otherwise.

Suggestion to all: To know best what you are dealing with read Frank's responses to my complaint. Then read the other complaints for common threads.

I have not been sarcastic. I have been factual. Yes I am now a mad comsumer who feels ripped off by a company.

I do not understand why you would make such a sarcastic post to my need for your contact info. Maybe you do not want to have us help you, or maybe you are not a customer???? I am only trying to resolve your issues. If your transmission really did fail, then I am sure that my staff is working to fix it. If you want me to get involved and try to help you further than I need your info. Yes we have sold alot of transmissions to Oregon, but when I did a quick search of our database I could not find anything that located a specific match. Please stop the sarcastic posts, hopefully we can figure this out and take care of this to your satisfaction...

Also think about it. He says they do have have anyone from this state. Earlier on other complaint sites Frank claimed to have 5000 units sold. None in Oregon???

Notice:

The owner of the company does not think he sold a transmission to someone in Joseph. Not only do I have a shipping receipt but also have credit card charges to my card to prove different. I also have phone calls on my caller Id Dated for 1-28-05 at 3:45 pm to prove otherwise. Call and ask for the general manager and ask him if he remembers me. Ph# 623-936-1500.

People this should tell you something about the kind of company you may have to deal with.
