I purchased a AKC yorkie puppy from Gayla Striplin @ Picture Perfect Yorkies in February 2009. Gayla had e mailed me several pictures of the puppies that were available, along with their pedigrees. I ended up purchasing 2 female AKC yorkie puppies. They were to both fly in the same kennel together, to my home town. The total amount that I paid for these 2 puppies with numerous championship bloodlines was $2300.00

When I saw the puppies for the first time I was in shock. I felt someone was playing a joke on me. No, it was real. What I received was a 6 month old puppy that is definitely crossed with another breed. She had a 5" long tail. She does not have yorkie hair. There is just nothing about her that says yorkie. This was not a pure bred yorkie and it was not the yorkie I purchased! The other yorkie was just a pitiful looking dog. She had large floppy ears. They had No characteristics of a AKC Yorkshire Terrier.

I then made contact with Gayla on several occasions. Her answer to the problem was that I ship them back to her at my expense. Then She would send me 2 yorkies of her choosing. No! I had been lied to and cheated out of $2300.00 I am currently working with AKC and make no mistake about it, She will be found out! I am currently trying to sell the dogs for $400.00 each and have not had any buyers. Gayla Striplin robbed me of $2300.00 Do not buy from her. Beware!

Jan Wilson Sued for False report

AUTHOR: Picture Perfect Yorkies - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, June 25, 2009

Jan Wilson of Gatesville, TX is being sued for her false information that she
wrote about Picture Perfect Yorkies. She deliberately said that Picture Perfect
Yorkies sold her a dog that was not a purebred yorkie. This was her sad attempt
to try and recoupe back money that she spent for a yorkie puppy that she was not finacially able to get at the time. Picture Perfect Yorkies produces champion
show quality puppies so of course she got a outstanding show prospect yorkie.
Due to her lack of experience and knowledge of the breed she was not educated
enough to know what to expect in appearance or cost. We as professional breeders are fed up with type of mentality. This is a very hard buisness to be in
by trusting folks with your years of hard work and dedication. It only takes one
person who does not know what they are doing to mess up ones reputation.
This is why we are standing up for ourselves and sueing Miss Wilson for her
false accusations! Not only is our attorney taking action against her but so
is the State of Missouri Attorney General's office is filing a suit against
her for false advertising. I hope whoever is selling or buying puppies at this time and age will strongly reconsider what they say about an individual or company on the internet from now on. This is a true fact as to be careful what you say or it may come back to haunt you. We look forward to Miss Wilson's puplic apology soon!

False accusations

AUTHOR: Picture Perfect Yorkies - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, April 14, 2009

First of all this is a Purebred Yorkie! You are making false accusations based on nothing! You don't even have proof! When I asked for you to send me all your information to back up this claim you got really nervous and hung up on me when I called you. How dare you accuse me of raising mixed breeds and passing them off as purebred yorkies. We are adamant show breeders with high regards to the AKC standard and we take alot of pride in that! When you purchased the two yorkies from me you were first shown photos of the puppies I had and you willing chose the two you wanted. I sold you two very nice yorkies for the price of one. I was trying to help you get your breeding program started. I did ship both yorkies to you in one crate to save you on shipping costs. You obviously do not know yorkies and therefore should not be breeding them. If you would do some research and stop blaming everyone for your own ignorance than you would be very happy to know that you got top quality champion bloodlined yorkies for a steal of a deal. This is a quote From Joan B Gordon's book all about yorkies that is backed by AKC. A puppy that has a wiry coat texture, with a tan that is a very bright red gold by four to five months, will as an adult do one of two things: First, if the puppy as it approaches five or six months, or at least by nine months, shows the transition from black to blue, the coat texture will soften to a silky texture. If the black coat does not show this transition to blue, the adult dog will retain the wiry coat which will never attain any great length.

The book is the "Complete Yorkshire Terrier Guide" By Joan B. Gordon

The photo you sent me last week proves that your girl has a blue back already so she will turn out with a beautiful silk coat. You obvisoudly do not know what real quality looks like since you have never been around these types. Pet yorkies and show yorkies do not compare so do not slander me with your false information. I have contacted AKC and they do not have any record or complaint on file regarding this matter. So it is apparent that you do know how to lie, but I assure you that you will regret all of this the minute my attorney sues you for slander! You say you are selling both yorkies for $400 each and no buyers.
That contradicts the story you told me the other day on the phone when you said you only listed one in the paper for $100. We can't believe anything you say!
This is a sad attempt to try and ruin someone's reputation when you don't even have any credibility yourself! Please everyone consider the source before you even consider the accusation!

If you intend

AUTHOR: Devilsadvocate4education*just My Opinions* - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, March 31, 2009

If you intend to try and get any of your money back from this lady you need to send the dogs back to her and make sure you have as much proof as possible. Do you have absolute concrete proof the dogs were not as represented? It also sounds like her contract might say replacement only, but if she absolutely misrepresented the 'merchandise' it could be an out for you. You WOULD have to send the pups back though. *just my opinions*
