Pilot Group LTD Pilot Group LLC Refuse to honor 30 day money back garuntee for $152 script that does not work!! Las Vegas Nevada

I bought this company's Ready Dating Site that they sell for $149 but you have to pay extra for using Paypal so it cost me $152. It comes with the following pitiful instructions:

Instruction how to install:
1. upload files to your ftp server (password to the archive is pilotgroup).
2. load MySQL database. Then give CHMOD 777 to the folder where the script is located and to all templates_c folders
3. go to http://www.yourdomain.com/install/ (where www.yourdomain.com is your site name)
4. install the script (info will be inserted by installation script and you are just to check it up and correct if something is wrong)

Sounds easy right? Should work. It doesn't. I did as it said, the script said installation was complete. I went to the site and it came up. I logged into the admin area. Nothing worked. Then I was no longer able to get the the login page at all.

I spoke to tech support who immediately blamed it on my server, although I was successfully running several other scripts with the same server requirements as thier script. I knew he was wrong and contacted someone else.

The next person told me I did not have the newest version of the script and gave me a so called newer version. I was then angry that I had paid $152 for an outdated version of a script I'd only bought 2 days before. Then he told me, no the version he'd just given me was not the latest version and for me not to use it. Then proceeded to give me another version he said was the latest then admitted it was not. So I had the origial download I paid for and two mystery versions.

That person put me on hold and never came back. Then I talked to someone else who said there was a problem with the script being installed in a directory other than root. Mind you nothing on the site or in the instructions said this script had to only be installed on the root directory or I would not have bought it because that's just stupid. I didn't believe that about this script because when you go through the install it asks you what subdirectory you will be installing in and if you are installing at the root directory to leave that field blank.

I began to ask for my money back. They have a 30 day money back garuntee and I'd been trying to get the script to work for about 5-7 days.

Basically thier script just didn't work properly no matter which way you slice it. I was already running a free dating script on my site that ended up having more features than this $152 one that wouldn't even work.

The next support person insisted that I speak with one of thier developers. The developer insisted that I give him all my login info so he could go in and install the script. He said that if he did not install it within one day, I would get a refund. I reluctantly gave him the information the same day.

10 days later, he had not even attempted to get the script installed and working. I contacted support again and really began to demand a refund. I got another e-mail by a different developer promising and immediate refund. I said again I wanted a refund. Here it is 3 weeks later and still no refund and the script still does not work.

This company is actually in Russia and claims to have a US presence which is really just an address which is probably just to a Mail Boxes etc. or someone's house. They have no US phone number or an 800 number. The number listed is a number in Russia.

I want my money back so I can buy a script that works. That's all I ask. They have a 30 day money back garuntee, I've tried to work with them to get this thing to work and it doesn't. I even tried installing it at the root level and it still did not work.
