Pino and Sons Con artist Pino and Son's cement company who does shabby work and uses cheap materials Warren Michigan

  I Contracted Pino and Son's Cement Company to cement and driveway, sidewalk, backyard patio and a shed slab in 2011. After Just 5 months the backyard patio started to crack and chip. Three years after (2014) the front of the driveway already has numerous cracks. Al, the owner uses sand as the sub-foundation rather than the standard gravel before laying the cement. 

  I gave him a downpayment in July 2011 and he did not start the work until late October of that year. It was not until after numerous visits to his company office in Warren that he finally agreed to start the job.

  I payed him to lay a shed slab 12'x14' but he conned me into going with a 10'x 12' slab instead and verbally promised me that if I did that he would be able to provide me a shed from Costco the would fit the 10x12 dimensions. He never made good on his promise and further more, the shed was 1/2" short of the 10'x12' dimensions.

  If you do decide to use this company make sure that everything is written in the proposal: like start and finish time, exact dimensions, exact materials that will be used, foundation, exact kind of cement, warranty etc.. Furthermore, do not let him con you into not getting a city "Inspection Report". If you dont get a inspection report then you will not be able to take legal action against him if he deviates from the "work proposal."
