Have been receiving harassing and threatening phone calls to my place of employment by this company. Had told then on three separate occasions to not call me at work, they not one time reflected this in their computer files so different people would call me every week for the last month. I did finally get to speak to a supervisor who when I informed him that our conversation was being recorded let me know that I do not have permission to record any conversations with him. He then again tried to threaten me with garnishment of wages and I told him that I was not calling about that, I was calling to ask that no more of his employees call my place of employment and I was then told that I must put it in writing and fax in to them the request, and that I had until 5 p.m. today to call back with bank account information from a family or friend for automatic payments to be taken out for the balance due. I again told him that I was not calling about that and he told me, well you need to pay your bills and you wouldnt have to worry about anyone calling your place of employment.

I must say that I did try the plan they gave me for paying back my student loan but had a hardship after 5 months of consecutive payments being made. When I asked for an extension I was told no, that I had to come up with the remaining balance or my wages would be garnished. Well seeing as how I make less than $25,000 a year the garnishment would be less than the monthly payments I was making! It seems as though there is nothing that can be done once you give collection companies a phone number to reach you at. That starts the harassment and threats, almost like a green light to call whenever they wish. These people have called me before and after work hours per our caller I.D. system. I understand that I owe a student loan debt but if I do not have it what can I do? They have never tried to take my income tax returns nor garnish my wages, now I am at the point where they are gonna have to do whatever because I do not wish to be bothered by them anymore. Never have I ever been talked to so bad by any other kind of organization, Pioneer must inform their employees that it is indeed o.k. to harass and talk to clients in such a foul manner.
