Too Bad You cant Get Your Lies Straight. So far I have heard 3 different versions of this story that you feel you need to tell all of your customers. If you were'nt There then how do you know that my son started cussing Rana out first? Hum, No Audio on the Video's remember! What ever April! You lied about being there, now claim to of just seen the video. Explain why so many of his ex customers dont come back because they have been also cussed out by Rana? One other point is I dont know when Rana is in the store or when he is not, Since I do not make a habit of watching and paying attention to other peoples business. This is in response to Wendy's letter regarding the incident with her son. I am the employee she speaks of in her letter. First off, I never told her I was present at the time of the incident but that I has seen the video tape and talked the the other clerk and Rana himself. She called at nine am the day after the incident, as a citizen in this town who spends the five hundred dollars a month she claims to spend in that store, she would know like every other person in town knows that Rana is never in the store before four pm on any given day. So if she wanted to talk to HIM she would have called later in the day when she was off of work.

to clarify what the rule at the store is, we ask that all baby strollers be parked at the front register, the parent is never asked or told to leave behind their baby. The day of this incident the daughter-in-law had been asked very politely the day before to park her stroller, so when she came that day Rana told her you have to leave your stroller and she refused. He then said fine then take your business elsewhere, which is his right as the owner. According to the other clerk there was no "verbal abuse" on either parties part, the girl just left.

A little while later the son came back with an empty baby stroller wheeling it through the store. Rana confronted him and said to leave andnot come back. The boy, responded with F*** Y**. Rana said GET OUT NOW. Then the boy threw off some bags of pretzels and threw a box of candy in the trash. H

E then left and the sherriff was called. The sheriff viewed the video tape and said it would be turned over to the district attorney. Rana called me after and told me what happened and then I went andwatched the tape. IT is true the tape has no audio but most convenience stores do not have audio on the surveillence tapes. You could tell from the tape what occured. The next morning I was waiting on customers one of which is a higher up at the company Wendy works for. I saw the company name on the caller id and joked with the customer that his job was hunting him down. I answered and she asked who it was and I had no problem with her and felt like I was not involved with the situation.

She immediately started yelling at me that Rana told her daughter in law to leave her baby outside. I said no MA'am that is nt the case she was told to leave her stroller at the register. SHe responded with my grandson is a preemie and has a weak back and she doesnt'have to f***ing carry him.

THe part of the story about her daughter in law's mother is completely made up, I never had that conversation with her at all. She was yelling at me so loudly that I was about to cry and had the phone away from my ear. The customers in the store could hear every word she was saying. The last thing I said was please do me favor and call back and yell at Rana I am just a clerk. SHe said tell the motherf***** My famiy will never spend another dime in that store and hung up. The incident was reported to her company. Welcome to the day and age of caller ID. THe time and extension the call was made from were traced back to her. I would expect that any hardworking American would have something much better to do from work than call and harass the local convenient store. Her son is at least 27 years old and made his own choice to come in there and act the way he did. As a parent she shpuld have been embarrassed that he acted like that and that she as his mother had to call and defend him. Let's as parents teach our children accountability for their actions.
As for Rana buying things at other stores, Yes we do that, but we live in a town in the desert about sixty miles from Death Valley. Grocery distrubuters do not deliver here. WE aren't the only store in town which does so either. Yes he marks the prices up from what he pays for them, but don't all retailers? Is the man not supposed to make a profit? Most people in this town are grateful for the store and Rana, he is very nice and cashes checks because the bank closes so early here. HE lets people charge if they don't have money until the first, he is also the only store in town who participates in the California state food stamp program. He puts up with a lot of stuff from people and I feel he should be commended rather than slandered on the internet. I am sorry the whole incident happend but as we learn in elementary school for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. And, my mom always say what goes around comes around.
