I purchased a groupon for one hours worth of ride on Aug 28, 2010, as a present for our 7 yr old daughter's birthday party, and planned the entire theme around this purchase. I booked the stretch hummer in January for the party on February 11. I had a couple of questions, and had to call over 30 times before reaching Mr Jared Scott, who was very abrupt on the phone.
I finally got ahold of him again on Feb 4th, when trying to confirm the reservation...he brusquely stated that someone would call on Monday, yet no calls came. On Thursday, I was panicing, and tried all day to reach them to no avail. Friday and the party time came and went, it's now Tuesday and I still have yet to hear from them.
I have now called over 100 times, have sent 4 emails, multiple vm's, and even had my money refunded from groupon, yet ABSOLUTELY NO COMMUNICATION FROM PLATINUM!
A reviewer on another site said that Mr. Scott dismissed his concerns of other bad reviews by blaming them on a jealous competitor, yet this doesn't ring true in our situation. I would love to hear his explanation for standing up the 18 little passengers who were counting on this special present to make an even more memorable party.
