I got an email from a secret admirer..See below:

Dear Harrison, Secret Admirer has sent you an eCard from Dgreetings.com. Your eCard will be available with us for the next 30 days. If you wish to keep the eCard longer, you may save it on your computer or take a print.

To View your card Click on the following link OR Copy the following link into address bar of your web browser (((Redacted)))

If you have any comments or questions please email us at: (((Redacted)))

Below is the contents of the card:

Hi Harrison... This is difficult for me to do because Im shy..but I have a crush on you. Ive never been able to tell you for reasons which you would quickly identify as obvious if you knew who this was. With that said I want you to guess who I am and approach me yourself. To help you out with your guessing I made a few pictures and videos with Harrison written on my body. Theyre kind of risque photos so I had to made a profile at(((Redacted)))

(copy & paste or type (((Redacted))) into your web browser). My username in the members area is (((Redacted))). Its a free website but you might need a CC or Debit to verify your age because I had to. Sigh. But anyway sign up at (((Redacted))) and once you are inside search for me. I want you to guess who I am and then approach me yourself. Im shy and this is the bravest thing Ive probably ever done but you need to do the rest. Kisses Secret Admirer

I followed the link and it asked me for a credit card, but that it for for age verification and would not be charged. I gave them my cc# and it brought up a porn site. I immediately hit the cancel my membership button and i was directed to another website www.dollargo.us.

I attempted to cancel, but it stated that I would be charged on my credit card the amount of $39.95.  All attempts to cancel were in vain.

I am HOT and not going to take it.

I looked themup and it says that they are a scam. See below:

I've got scammed by this organization called Platinum Club. Probably they employs goons to check out the inexperienced users on sites like Craig's list (which I posted my ads).

I got the email inviting me to verify my age on verifysafely.com. They asked for credit card information but it said that verifying age would be free so I thought I would check it out. So here's the confirmation email that definitely reveals the organization's obvious scamming purpose (my personal information has been omitted) _______________________________________________ Dear [email] Thank you for your participation in the Platinum Club Free Lifetime Membership offer. Secret Admirer?

AUTHOR: Flynrider - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, August 19, 2009

Seriously?   Come on!  This scam is so transparent.  In real life, wouldn't the "secret admirer" just send you a regular email?

I have a few suggestions.   Turn off the computer and go out and meet some REAL people.  Second, do not give your credit card to any site unless you intend to buy something (because that's why they want your card info).
