Doug Plattner convinces people to accept employment with one of his dealerships and without a payplan.  Once you are working there, he continues to ignore your calls, emails, texts, and will not provide a signed payplan in writing.  This will go on for the whole month, then when the month is over and he has used your talents, he will authorize the accounting department to print a check and for how much.  He holds your pay for almost 30 days, so that by the time you realize what is happening - you have already invested another months work into his business.  He also does not provide you with a payplan or a breakdown of how he arrived at your paycheck, which is always short.  He also says that it is the sales manager, the comptroller, and/or the general manager that makes or authorizes these decisions - but everyone that has every worked there knows, Doug Plattner is the only one that can authorize payroll.  I do not understand how a person of such low moral character, deceitful business practices, lack of concern for employees and customers, incredible arrogance, poor people skills, etc. - can still be in business.  It must be the hard working, desperate people that are still there, working for sub-standard wages, that keep his business going.  If you care at all, go work somewhere else, go buy somewhere else, the only way to convince this person that he is wrong is by taking his money.  Does anyone else care enough to do anything about it?

#1 UPDATE EX-employee responds

Who to contact

AUTHOR: Angie Colegrove - ()

POSTED: Tuesday, June 04, 2013

I worked for the Quincy dealership for 4 weeks and when everyone else received their checks MINE WAS MISSING. The GM understood my frustration and told me to take the weekend off and come back in Monday - my check would be overnighted to me - Come Monday my check was not in with the Security Officers checks - I packed up and my office and left.

After reading all of the comments on line I have gone to the Chevrolet and made a complaint. I was told that anyone that has been paid for their time has to file a seperate complaint.

The web site is http://www.chevrolet.com/help/contact-us.html

Click on "click to chat". Explain your situation and tell them you want to file your complaint about a Chevy GMC owner.....

He needs to be stopped and I don't think Chevrolet/GMC wants their name tarnished by such a con artist!

Good luck to you.
