PNC Bank 200 a Dove Run Circle; Dove Run and Brick Mill Rd, Middletown, DE. 19709 September through December 2008,stole $55,637.00 from our account. We deposited $50,000.00 Sept 7, 2008 from a realestate sale and already had $52,000.00 with the We reported our checks stolen, reported statements stolen, we were reassured as long as we had our recorded deposits and we had all deposit receipts and statements up until September we were protected with our account information and deposits. We soke to the branch every Wednesday and went to the grocery branch weekly. Never did they close our account and we asked reassuring us of security of our acount , yet they allowed stolen checks to be cashed daily for four monhs. We had been banking at this branch for 12 years and wrote on adverage 6 to 8 checks monthly, but this same branch whoo knew us personally cashed checks daily for for 18 weeks and gave our money away, with fraud checks, fraud signatures on stolen checks never shuting account down, never notifying us just keep telling us we didn't have a problem. when we asked to speak with manager when things were not changing. manager Bonnie said a police repport was needed. We presented on and had to follow up. that wasn't suffcient we were out $55,637.00 FICA protected and all. We wrote the main branch, bank commissioners everything. PNC Never refunded our money, Refused ownership pf theft. We developed relationships with tellers at the branch and made weekly deposits in person to avoid fraud and these same tellers gave our money away daily knowing we wrote checks 6 times a month, but deposited checks 4 times a month in person, but handed our money right across counter een after report of checks and statements.

Something doesn't add up..

If you only wrote 6-8 checks a month on this account, AND someone was cashing a check DAILY, AND you were going to the branch EVERY Week. Why did you never withdraw all of your money out of that account and at the very least put it into another account, at worst take it to another bank and deposit it?
What do you mean they never notified you? You by your own words stated you went there every week? Are you saying that in that entire time you never once looked at your balance or the number of checks written? If that is the case then why would you appear to continue to cover the losses by depositing more money into the account?
What did the police say when you told them all they had to do was hang out at the bank and wait for this person to make their daily withdraw?
Why did the withdraws abruptly stop?
It seems like there is a lot more than you are not saying.
