i was called out of the blue to this company. stated i owed this electric bill of 234.00. i had not lived there since 20004,since then it burned down, these people started harrassing me, i am 60 on a fixed income and have health issues

Unless you already have it, get caller ID and don't answer the phone when you don't recognize the number. There's no law that says you have to talk to scam artists like them. That's what they are.
