This company is a joke literally! I don't know if they have a staff full of retards but it took me forever to get my cancer meds. Not only that my insurance is making me use this pharmacy for whatever reason. I am not satisfied with their customer service, you will sit on the phone holding for 20minutes until you speak with a live person. It is the worst experience ever!

Not only that in order to speak with a pharmacist you have to be a member of the FBI. It is hard to get in contact with a pharmacist, they will give you the run around and send you to a technician who in essence does not solve your problem. I have called millions of times and advised them I sent in a new prescription but for some reason it is always lost, so my doctor will not write another.

Billing is just a disaster! You will ask for statements but do not get them. I am just sick of the run arounds with this company, it truly needs to be shut down. We are talking about specialty medications here.

So if you have BCBS, you better fight with them to use an alternative or drop them!

I'd agree with the assessment that the company is a joke

I've been using PrecisionRX for over a year due to it being forced upon me.  Every month is a new "adventure" with them.  They've shipped late, accused the doctor of filling out prescriptions incorrectly, "lost" orders submitted online and over the phone.  If you call too early for a refill, the insurance company denies the prescription but if you call too late, you're not going to get your drug on time.  You don't know if there is a problem with your prescription and/or delivery because according to more than one rep I spoke with, "we work on your order at the last minute before scheduled delivery."  To me, this means that they don't even bother checking the order until it's too late to notify you that there is a problem.  I've been called on the day of scheduled delivery to be notified that there is a problem with my order.  Unacceptable for a specialty pharmacy.

I guess the person who wrote the "Perhaps" rebuttal is an employee or someone that doesn't have to take specialty medications to live.  It's sad when the drug that I was getting hangups with via PrecisionRX was available to me via Walgreens SAME DAY, but somehow the doctor was screwing up the prescription?  Yeah, someone was screwing up, but it sure wasn't my doctor.

... if you people would actually take the time to read your benefits you would understand what you are getting.

... if you didnt refer to real humans with limited power idiots and retards as above they would be more likely to go beyond their job descriptions to help.

... its a lot of finger pointing but it all comes back to people not understanding the terms of service.

Precision RX is a nightmare to deal with!

AUTHOR: Ash - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, February 23, 2009

I have had to deal with this company for years now due to insurance. The NEVER get the orders right. I get two meds, both serious immunosuppressants, and several times i have had to be hospitalized due to mess-ups and not receiving my biologic injections. Physical misery, hospitalization costs (often one week), lost income from missing work - and missing work in this economy is not a great idea.

They are always lovely and understanding of the problems on the phone, never a cross word. But that doesn't help when it is all lip service. They promise to have someone call - they don't. They promise to assign one person to my account to reduce mistakes - they don't.

Your health is at risk when dealing with this company, and the financial and mental costs to both you and your insurance (it just increases costs, resulting in higher rates next year) are tremendous. If you are on meds upon which your life depends - you need to take action before it gets to that point. Don't even bother talking to Precision RX. Talk to your insurance company calmly and lay-out the costs to them and you.

In the meantime, if you are stuck with them, I recommend the following:
- when you place an order, find out when it is to ship, and then follow up with another call to make sure it actually DID ship. If you are on several meds from them, be very very sure to check each med's shipment. Verify the address it is sent to as well. I have had them show up at my home, at the wrong dr's office - it is a crap shoot.
- check your credit card statement. If you only see a charge for one med, it is a good sign the other didn't ship. Same for single shipments.
-randomly, the billing department sometimes will put the order "ON HOLD," because something in their system suddenly makes them think that they never got paid despite having your credit card on file, and despite the authorization you supplied when ordering.
- if you change ANYTHING at all, follow up closely. They have a gear of a time getting a standard order out. If you change any piece of data, you never know where your meds will end up.
- don't give up. like it or not, we are stuck with these people until the insurance company realizes it is a crapload more expensive to use them in the long run than any savings they realized on the up front drug costs.
- Bug the heck out of both Precision and your insurance company. This is your life, and you have to fight for it. No one pays the price except for you, and while you should not have to do this, and it is really frustrating, don't let it get to you. You and your health will suffer and they win.

i wish you all luck. I hope more of you out there respond to this post. Individually, we don't have much power. Our best shot at changing things is by voicing our experiences, and being heard. This isn't about a defective dvd player. This is our life and we need to help each other take care of each other.

I totally agree

AUTHOR: Benn - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, January 29, 2009

I have Anthem Blue Cross here also...they bought out the WI Blue Cross and they to forced me to use this service. I had sent in my HIV med's nearly two months in advance of needing a refill and when it came due to getting more med's, I was told that they can't fill them since the doctor license number was not on the scripts. Well I got upset with this idiots. I told them that you had nearly two months to see that and fix the problem but no, you wait till I run out and then say something?

I was upset and called Anthem and spoke to the Vice-President and told them that tomorrow morning I am "out" of med's and this disease is not something you just "miss a dose". That if I don't have my med's I will sue Blue Cross and this pharamacy for all that I can.

Well the Vice-President (a lady) took over the problem and was able to modivate the idiots to do thier job quickly.

Now last week, prior to Anthem taking over I had a surplus of one type of med's. So I told the lady on the phone only to send me "two months" of this one type of med's and the rest three months worth. Easy right? Reason when I used Walgreens they messed-up on one of the orders and gave me a one-month of med's free (worth over $800 for one med). The doctor is going to change med's now and place me on the one pill a day instead of the five pills a day that I am on now so no need to have the "extra bottle". So I thought that was easy and she understood, even told me again that she was deducting one less bottle on this order.

So behold, when the med's arrived the next day would you believe it...I got three bottles and not two as I asked for. I will be checking my debt-card to see if I was billed for three since I am refusing to pay for it if I did. I spoke to the doctor yesterday and asked her if she would take the extra bottle and donate it to someone that needs it but since it needed to stay cold she said she couldn't take it. So there was a waste of money and good med's on the part of some idiot that can't listen to what I asked for.

Yes I am upset!
