Premier Athletics, Athletic Championship All-star cheer school turned mega scam Knoxville Tennessee

This Is to let everyone out there know what kind of scam Premier Athletics is up too. My daughter was a member of one of the Sharks teams last year and one year was enough to see what it was all about. First of all go to varsity.com and you will find out who is behind the demise of a once great cheer school. Varsity and Premier are one in the same and also own; UCA/NCA, UDA/NDA, United Spirit Association, CTC, American Cheerleaders Association, The American Championships, Athletic Championships, World Spirit Federation, Spirit Sports, Varsity Spirit Fashions, Cheerleader and DanzTeam, V!ROC, and AACCA. I also would not doubt it if they owned at least part of the companies that do the photography and video at the competitions. They have also bought out close to two dozen other schools and have over 100 competing cheer teams.

As member of the Sharks you will not attend any competitions that are not owned by Premier Athletics except for Cheersport in Atlanta. Once upon a time one of the teams was so good that they were offered a bid to Worlds, they went to a UCA instead. Jamfest was in Gatlinburg, the Sharks were stuck at Premier Championships 10 miles away. Cheersport was in Sevierville, the sharks were stuck at an Athletic Championship in Knoxville. By the end of the year some parents start figuring this out and the coaches will tell you that next year it will be different, but every year it just gets worse

When you attend an Athletic Championship as a Premier Shark do not expect to win. You are there to fund the competition so they can hand out all the first and second place trophies to what ever schools brought the most teams. Why? Because Athletic wants them to return next year and no one would come back to a Premier owned competition if they gave the wins to Premier owned teams. The other gripe I have with Athletic is the fact that a bunch of gymnast that can't do anything but tumble can show up and win! teams are suppose to be judged on cheer, dance, tumble and stunts. In 2007 the Thunder all-stars mini level 2 team turned their back hand springs into walk overs and competed as a level 1 and won with one of the lamest routines I have ever seen and I have the video to prove it. lame stunts, lame cheer, lame dance and won! Athletic Championships SUCK! And as a Shark you will miss going to real competitions just to fund Athletic.

Premiers goal is to totally control all aspects of the sport and make sure that they are the only ones making any money. They do not care about anything but money. They do not care about the parent or the kids and if you don't like it, oh well, they don't care because the people in this country are programmed to get screwed and if you leave their will be another person dumb enough to take your place. You can thank premier for the demise of real national championship cheerleading in the eastern half of the country.
