Loan Modifications

AUTHOR: Alison Cbar - (United States of America)

POSTED: Wednesday, November 25, 2009

I do loan modifications at a Real Estate Law firm and I would like to clarify some things about modifications. 1.) Do the research into the company you are sending money to when you aren't ever seeing them face to face 2.) Use an actual attorney or non profit agency- if the company says "attorney based" or "affiliated party of an attorney" then they are NOT a law firm. 3.) Readily ask for the attorneys bar ID number and phone number to their states Attorney Generals office- Florida's attorney general is 8.5.0 5.6.1 5.6.0.0 or florida bar (one word) .org is the website where you can actually pull up the attorney in questions ENTIRE bar history- if their license was suspended or a complaint was ever submitted it will show up! If a company can't provide you with that then DONT use them! 4.) There are obviously some scam companies, but you can't slam all loan mod companies who cant get you modified!!!! You are paying them to do the work FOR you, not for the modification!!!!!!!! 5.) There are certain lenders, like HSBC, BENEFICIAL, most credit unions, etc that do not have to modify because they are private institutions so guess what, they can do what they want! 6.) It is YOUR fault your house was foreclosed on because you were not proactive- you should haev done something about it on your own instead of waiting!!! You live in a Judicial foreclosure state where everything is in court, you could have negotiated a forebearance on your own with your lender to avoid going into foreclosure (my law firm does that for every client who is behind or in foreclosure- we've ever stopped sale dates that were a few days out by doing that.

*for future references, when you attempt to modify all you ahve to do is make sure that 31% of your taxable income (before taxes) is below your total mortgage payment (all mortgages, principal, interest, tax, insurance), and that 55% of your monthly expenses dont exceed your total income! THats it- there you go submit for modification on your own!

Premier Consumer Advocacy claims totally false

AUTHOR: Ben - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, July 13, 2009

The claims in the report filed are totally false. My company is an affiliate with Premiere Consumer Advocacy and Vinny is an ex employee of mine that left the company a week ago. When he was told not to speak to Premiere any more he must have taken it personal. We have never had a client named Marie out of West Caldwell nor had any clients foreclosed upon which Premiere processed the modification for. In fact, Premiere never had any client lose their home due to foreclosure. Jackie Sortino is always in the office and answers the calls. If she can not take the call at that time she will return your call in a timely fashion. Please do not believe the comlaint that was filed against Premiere. Unfortunately, websites that were designed to help victims are sometimes used to create false statemants and give a company an undeserved reputation, which has happened in this case.
