I was called by a guy named Peter White. He said that he was with Capitol One Premium Advantage. He told me that he would like to review my information so that I could receive a credit card to re-establish my credit. That my limit would be $4000 but that it would require a refundable deposit of 299.95.

That when I received the card in the mail with in 7 days and then to just go to an ATM and take the money back out of the card and use it as I wished. The card was to be at a 4.9 APR for the first year and that as long as I made my payments that it would go down to as low as 1.7 APR. He said that there was no annual fee, no monthly fees, and that the APR stated was for cash advances as well as purchases.

Needless to say, I was excited. I thought I was actually going to be able to get a credit card again and that I could re-establish my credit. I have NOT had the best luck with money, I am behind on bills, along with all of the other financial problems that go with having kids, being pregnant and no income. So I really could not afford the deposit, but went ahead and did it because they told me that I would be getting it back in a week. So, at least, I thought I knew, I would still have most of my rent money needed.

I waited the week, and a couple extra days for possible postal problems. When I called the number they gave me, there was no such number in existance. I filed a police report and went to my bank. My bank said that because I gave them the information that they can't give me my money back. I am completely devestated! I need help! Please, if anyone can help, please let me know!!!!

Thank you so much for your time, I hope you are reading this before you get ripped off, unlike myself.
