Our Call Center received a call from Premium Distribution Corp. representative Dan who indicated that he was our Copier Service Company. From there he received my name which he had no knowledge of before. We recorded this conversation so here is what happened. The caller then was transferred to my VM and continued to pretend that he was our copier service company. Once he gained my confidence in this he ran a series of fast talking confidence games to try to earn my trust and establish the fact that yes I had ordered services from our Contracted Copier / Toner Supply Company.

In this he was impersonating and deceptively acting as that company. From there he indicated that we had a toner on back order and that it would be shipped from a different supplier.  Again once he had lied and deceived me into thinking he was our legally contracted vendor he then told me that he was going to send us the toner which was never shipped. He talked very quickly and snuck in little details about this order and asked if I would confirm a call from the vendor.

Same day the con company called me and asked me to confirm the order. We were then invoiced $837.81 for the toner cartridge. An outrageous amount for a toner that normally sells online for about half the price. Furthermore they call and try to collect from our Accounting Department.

This company and it’s representatives use, what is or should be illegal business practices. I would suggest that a full investigation by local CA Authorities be launched and executed against them. Moreover they use Con Games and Trickery to play various departments and company personnel off of each other. If there con came does not work they then actively pursue asking us to send them their merchandise back. This is really the icing on the cake in my opinion of this con. They probably have limited amounts of toner and can just keep recirculating them until someone falls for this despicable immoral con game.
