I contracted with Presidential to transport my car across the country to my son.  I was quoted a price by Maria and agreed to the price and also the "commission" fee which was to be paid up front.  I should have seen the red flag but being an honest person I just ASSUME others are also.  First mistake!  The car was ready to go and I gave them a pick-up date of March 5th.

Long story short, after more than 4 weeks AFTER the pick-up date, and after much lying and bantering back and forth, I agreed to pay a higher price for the transport, which was to INCLUDE the "commission" fee already paid up front.  Suffice it to say that even after I agreed to a higher price the car was not picked-up and the last line of lies I was told was that the trucker would be there in "a 1/2 hour".

I then reiterated to Anthony that it was my understanding I was to pay the higher price, minus the "commission fee" and he responded that "no you need to pay the higher price and the commission fee has nothing to do with it." At that point I was done!  I knew I was being ripped off, once again, and cancelled the pick-up (which I don't believe would have happened anyway).

This whole experience was a nightmare and Maria, Anthony and the dispatcher Al are all scam artists.  I would not let them transport my pet lizard across the country, never mind my car!

To me a "commission fee" is earned after a job is completed.  They are refusing to refund my money, which they did not earn, and I am now faced with having to turn to other options, after wasting 6 weeks with these people.
