Prestige Home Centers Inc Treated as If we were buying a Used Car not our New Home - Screwed in the end, bit they have our Money Ripoff Yulee Florida

These People Suck. My wife and I decided in late 2006 to purchase a new home for our newly paid off property. With the 4 acres paid off we knew the Land would stand for the Loan on the Home. We live in Nassau County and have pride in our community, therefore we decided to shop Local and spend our Hard Earned Money with a Local Company. We were so excited to be able have the home built to our specs and have all the add ins we paid for.

We delt with 3 different managers (Each was Fired) before finally talking with Alex (One of the main guys from Corp.) and the Newest manager Leah. After weeks of uncertainty and me telling them I would just shop elsewhere they did meet us to let us know our home was built and waiting for us to sign off on it for delivery - Ummm I said no we need to see the home before I sign off saying I take possession. That was a Good Call on my part none of the upgrades had been completed and the papers they wanted us to sign was stating we were satisfied and they would owe us nothing. After inspection of the Home I told them you must be crazy I dont want this home its not what we ask for, then Alex and Leah needed us to produce our paperwork showing the improvements promised and paid for in the price of the home. They werent even professional enough to have their paper wok. So any way to try and keep it short. I had to refuse the Home, then they offered me 1200.00 dollars off not to upgrade the windows to storm windows Right.

Then I was told Corp. would not do the windows but would do the other upgrades. I politely shook their hands and told them thanks for wasting several months of our time and left with my wife in tears over the whole deal. Shockingly the next day Leah calls and tells my wife she went to bat and got the windows done. Just come down sign some papers for the upgrades and its your Home. She was right without me knowing my wife went and reviewed the paper work and thought everything was good. Well we got the window upgrade but NOTHING else. Door Knobs, Sinks, Faucets, Jets for the Garden Tub NOTHING- we have been in our New Home for 7 months now and still dont even have screens on the windows. Every time my wife called Leah she promised she was going to take care of everything. Now as of June07 Alex has informed my wife there is no paper work to support the upgrades and what we have is what we have.

Thanks You Piece Of #@*%. Lead us on for 9 months telling us even if they had to put it on a personal credit card and the company repay them. Ya Right, I told my wife better then and she knows now. Oh and not to mention the nice 12.9 % interest rate. These guys are classic. A 100 Grand Loan cost 1271.00 a month. How nice, for them and their alias.
Yes I know the interest rate thing is on me but after being badgered by them and my wife for months What Do You Do?

They should change Prestige Homes to Prestige Used Car Sales.
