I would like more information on James Albers if it is available. I am the owner of an AKC german sheperd, purchased from a breeder in North Carolina in 2004. I am having difficulty selling my german sheperd because my name, in fact, is James Albers also. Can you include more information regarding this seller so that my buyers can distinguish the difference? I am 27 years old and in Louisiana. I am not a breeder or an animal trainer but I'd like you to know that people ARE researching and seeing your report.

When I considered purchasing a SCHH2 personal protection dog, I flew out to see the dogs myself- as well as a demonstration of their abilities. I would caution any would be purchaser to demand valid paperwork upfront, and to utilize the web to research the background information on your trainer/breeder. If they cannot put you in contact with a purchaser that will speak highly of the animal and the trainer, I'd shop elsewhere.

Wow, I'm really sorry to hear about these situations. It's been my experience that, if you bought a pup out of AKC registered parents and the person you bought the pup/dog from is not getting you your proper AKC papers for your pup in a timely fashion, then there IS a solution.

You should've gotten a contract/bill of sale with the seller at the time you paid the money showing this information: name of your pup/dogs parents, date your pup was born, # of pups in your pup's litter(include gender breakdown if you know), your pup's color and gender, date you purchased your pup, the seller's name and address and your name and address. If you have this, then the AKC can handle your situation DIRECT without you having to keep fighting and getting unreturned emails and calls from the seller/breeder.

Send the AKC a letter explaining what you've been dealing with from the breeder and how you can't get your rightful AKC papers for your pup/dog and a copy of your bill of sale giving all the info I've mentioned, and they will handle your situation directly and send you your AKC papers, with or without compliance of the breeder/seller. Send it to the AKC's Case Management Department.

And, your Attorney General of your state can help you if you ever need to file a complaint against a breeder who owns an official business and has a website. They often act as mediators with a seemingly endless situation to help get it resolved; breeders don't want to upset them too much or else the Attny General can file a case and do further investigating if warranted into their potentially unethical business practices with clientele.

It's better than nothing, or having to fork out a bunch of extra $ for attorneys. I hope that helps anyone out there facing such situations and not knowing what they can do about it.

Just wanting to update everyone on my dog. I had extensive medical testing done on my dog, and my worse nightmare came true. The dog that I bought from James Albers (Prey-9 German Shepherds) had distemper which causes slothing of the stomach lining, and to boot, he has hip dysplasia. That's the reason for him vomiting all the time. We are trying new medication. I paid so much for this dog, and I won't put him down.

Bought a dog from James albers and have not got papers nor will he call or e-mail me. He now longer goes under prey 9 kennels. goes under black river German Shepards Breeders. My dog is now 16 months old pup of a Dam he has Palm. Called him with the new number I found on the new web site, boy was he suprised, asked me if he could call me back. I said ok, still have not heard from him. You can not run a bussiness like this when people are paying good money for his Dogs. We do love our dog, and got a beatifull dog. But would like to breed her some day.

James new website is www.brgsd.net I also contacted the Missouri Atty. General Office. If James thinks for one minute that I'm going to let this go, he's sadly mistaken. After what I've been through, it has only made me a stronger person. I will make a trip to Poplar Bluff. He thinks by running he can hide, but thanks to some special people, I know where he lives. This is a round world, What goes around comes around. With all the complaints and filings, James is going to get what's coming to him.
