I was traveling to Boston and needed a hotel. I was helping someone move from FL to MA and drove 1200 miles.  I had a helper who's best friend goes to college in Cambridge MA so we decided to stay the weekend.  I searched the web and found what appeared to be a good deal from priceline.  The web site for priceline and the hotel both claimed that the public transportation is available in front of the hotel Extended Stay Deluxe Boston - Waltham.  The hotels website lists the hotel provides transportation.  I called before booking and was told the city bus picks up and drops off in front of the hotel.  I paid for the hotel in advance as is required by priceline.  When we tried to go to the hotel I was told the bus that goes there is only available M-F during the day and the only bus that gets close would bring us within walking distance of the hotel.  We got off the bus and tried to find out where the hotel was.  The hotel did try to help us and when they found out where we where they sent an employee to pick us up. 


It was a 20 minute drive from where we where dropped off and the hotel.  I explained to the women behind the counter that the location and transportation is not what I was told and we would not be checking in.  She said she would not check us in and there would be no charge from them.  This is when the true nightmare began.  I called priceline's customer service number.  I spoke to someone who appeared to only be able to speak enough english to read off excuses from a script.  When I was told they refuse to help once they get your money I said OK hung up and began to call other more reputable companies for a hotel room I could use.  Priceline called me back a number of times until I allowed this idiot to read her entire script this ruined the other calls I was trying to make and was killing my phone.  I then tried to get some form of customer service by sending emails and it appears that priceline's policy is take your money, provide nothing and keep it.  Apparently when we click a box on the agreement we agree to give them our money regardless if they are doing anything for us.
