Saw a special about priceshuffle.com on a news program. The program gave a promotional code about 300 free bids. I signed up to use those 300 bids and see if I liked it. I was charged $149.75 to join and get 100 bids, plus the 300 for the promotion. I complained and was told I agreed to the terms and conditions. I went back to sign up as a new customer again to see what I missed. I noticed that you have to enter all your credit card info up front before having a chance to read the fine print.

They refused to refund me, and so I planned to eventually just burn through the bids. However, right after Christmas 2010 there were no more interesting items ever. And one time I checked there was absolutely nothing to bid on. Now in Sept. 2011, the website is completely gone. I used about 3 bids total. I feel I should be refunded $149.72.

Put the bids wrong

The free bids promotion was for 100 bids. Once I signed up, I was charged for 300 additional bids, for a total of 400 bids. I used 3.
