Pridiom No service or actual support Cresskill New Jersey

Purchased this recommended mini-split a/c system and had it installed. Worked great the first year. Hardly used, but worked great. Tried to use it just before Christmas and it would not work. It set a code which said the two units could not communicate. Contacted Pridiom customer service and was told I could not work on this unit unless I was a licensed professional. I have had three professionals come to my house and have been turned down by at least three others, including Sears and Home Depot, who sell these units on their website. 

Pridiom sent a new circuit board and a power supply which are similar looking but are not an exact replacement. They also sent some very vague instructions which the professionals could not decipher. Everyone who talked to Pridiom's service department got the same run-around. These are the only parts and no one can install them so the unit will work. There are extra wires and some missing ones with respect to the original boards. The last company told me they really did not want to take any more of my money for service charges because they felt it was a waste of time. I was told it was time to cut my losses and forget trying to get it repaired.

This unit boasts a "best warranty in the business" on their website. It it still under warranty, but no one can, or wants, to fix it.

I would definitely not advise anyone to purchase from this company.
