I received a call (pre-recorded message) from Bruce at Prize Claim Center at He asked me to call back because I'd won a prize.

Great news for me. Contest entry form I submitted within last 18 months in hopes of winning an automobile. My ticket was pulled last night as a grand prize finalist. Congratulations! I've actually one one of their top 4 major prizes at no cost. It would be at my best interest to return their call ASAP.

877-880-4246 x0 Do not hesistate to give him a call. He has some great news for me.

I saved the voicemail message. The phone # from caller ID is for WISHES at 708-844-1297 (Illinois, right?).

When I called back later, I presses X0 and got to John Hollander instead of Bruce. John went on to say that I'd definitely win 1 of 4 prizes. I'd simply be responsible for the taxes of the gift. The gifts were:

#1 Lincoln Navigator
#2 $2,500 cash
#3 4Day/3Night stay in the Bahamas
#4 32" (Toshiba?) Plasma TV

My winning ID# ITC7600. John told me the only times available to claim my prize were/are 10/25 & 10/26 at 5:30, 6, 7 and 8pm each night. He then told me the company would explain themselves to me and we'd be done in about 90 minutes.

I asked if there was any catch & he said no and the company is called Discount Exchange. I hadn't heard of it before and he said it was like a Travelocity or Expedia site.

Part of me wants to read them the riot act after reading all the posts tonight, especially since I've been on the Do Not Call registry for years. The other part of me wants to attend their seminar tomorrow and play their little game to see how much information they actually try to sucker out of people.
