My husband & I hired Professional Tax Care to help with our IRS problems. We paid them $2,700 and were promised by Chris Seminatore that they could greatly reduce the amount the IRS said we owed. We sent in our paper work several times and we were told they didn't recieve it or that we mailed it to the wrong address, etc...this went on for several mths.
 
Also after speaking to Mr. Seminatore in our first conversation, he told us that he would be our "Tax Manager" and we would be working with him only. After that we were never allowed to speak to him again for numerous reasons. We had to speak to a different person each time we called, but our monthly payments were being processed by them EVERY MONTH, until paid in full.
 
We contacted these people often with GREAT CONCERN with our case and was always PROMISED things were being done on our behalf and everything was on track.

After sending in my paper work numerous times, I was told to send it again. I sent my paperwork in and it was returned to me stating, "Business no longer at this address". I immediately called Pro Tax and to my dismay, ALL THE PHONES WERE DISCONNECTED! I also tried to email Pro Tax and all my emails were sent back.

This company and these people have ripped us off and I recently looked them up on the Better Business Bureau site and they have an F rating and several complaints, ( I had looked them up on BBB site before hiring them and they had no rating). I located where Mr. Seminatore now works and called and spoke to him about this matter and he blew me off and referred me to Steven L. Carter, who was the CPA for Pro Tax. I cannot reach Mr. Carter but was told he may be in the San Francisco area.

My husband and I now OWE MORE due to pentalties and we would like a FULL REFUND from PROFESSIONAL TAX CARE aka PRO TAX for not upholding their aggreement.
