Again, Progressive does not pay on a claim.  After Progressive has two different estimates completed by their employees that were both $3000 lower than the three estimates completed by three reputable body shops, now they refuse to pay for the towing bills to deliver the car to a body shop to be repaired.  Angela Csnak approved for the car to be towed and have the car torn down so their second estimator could come closer to the three estimates by the body shops, now Progressive is refusing to pay for these charges.  Charlie Johnson told me that Angela did not approve these repairs before he even talked with her.  I do not know how Charlie knew this, because he only became involved 4 days ago.  He also told me he was going to call her and let me know what he found out.  Makes no sense that he had to call her if he already knew the answer, but it was just a way to get me off the phone. 

I have called Charle Johnson 5 times since he promised he would call me back, but does not answer his phone and will not returned my call like he promised.  

Progressive seems to make promises that they are unwilling to keep.  I have since went to the State of Ohio Department of Insurance to report this dishonesty.  They told me they would contact them and find out why they are refusing to call. 

Progressive has not been honest from the first estimate (being $3000 less than three body shops)  to participating with a BodyShop who will give the customer a 60-40 split on repairs completed with 3C body shop, to telling their customer that they will pay for a simple tow and the teardown of the vehicle so their authorized claims representative could look at the vehicle and then not pay nor return any phone calls.  In addition, they have a subrogation department that supposedly collects money from the other party when they are at fault.  The accident occured on May of 2013 and to date, the subrogation department has mailed a letter to the other party, who told them they were not going to pay.  The subrogation department has since forwarded the loss to a collection agency who has since tried to call the other party and have yet spoken to anyone.  Great Job subrogation dept.  Almost a year and you haven't talked to anyone yet.

The irony of this is that when I registered at the Ohio Dept of Insurance, the receptionist told me that they as well had a claim with Progressive.  He told me that they lowballed the estimate to him and he sued them and won.  It took him over three years but seems to be common knowledge within the Department of Insurance that Progressive lowballs their estimates and won't pay their claims.
