I had Protective Life Insurance in Birmingham, AL for years and years I filed a claim. They said that it would take 3-5 business days for them to mail a check. Try, a month. People really need their life insurance when they file a claim. For them to lie about sending it added more frustration to my distress. I had to call them three times!

I am truly sorry for your loss. However, - you should consider yourself lucky you even received a check at all from this company.

You could have lost your home due to foreclosure, family business, all financial security you thought was had in place for your entire family - meaning my husband & I will work seven days a week until the day we die - and even then my children will still have an extraordinarily hard time securing funds to pay for any college education, - along with half a milliion dollars as my family did due to the deceitful "reinstatement policy" of Protective Life Insurance Company.
