Providence Park Apartments ripoff do not lease person murdered there horrible staff uncaring evil Brandon Florida

I signed a lease with an Providence park Apartments in Brandon. When viewing the apartment there wasnt any power so i was inable to see the inside. I was told there was a 48 hour cancellation time period after signing the lease. When i viewed the apartment i was told it was 535.00 a month so i decided to take a look. When we got to leasing it increased 10.00 a month.I also noticed a sherriffs officer walking his dog and asked the leasing agent if the complex had an issue with drugs he said no i asked if the complex had any safety problems he said no. I signed the lease went back to work and found out from a coworker that someone was murdered in the complex, people were reporting breakins and muggings. I immediately called the leasing office and no one returned my calls when i did get in contact with someone they first denied that there ever was a murder but then finally admitted that there was.

The complex would not let me out of my lease for anything. I put in three maintenance requests to have the light in the parking lot fixed and they never fixed it, on the night i moved out 1 week after signing the lease i found out that the heat in my apartment did not work. After terminating the lease i was advised i would have to continue to pay the full ammount of rent for the remainder of the lease or until they rerent the apartment in addition to 30.00 a month and a 75.00 redecoration fee. I lost out on all of this and am considering contacting a lawyer.
