Providian - Emergepo Box credit protection ripoff continued harrassment and fraudelent charge put on account for fees and such Atlanta Georgia

to whom it may concern,
i want to let everyone know of the deceptive acts by providian and its company emerge. i had 2 providian accounts with perfect credit and a high balance. than i found myself unemployed. since i had credit protection on all my cards, i was not worried about them. this is when providian sold one of my cards to emerge and increased my interest rate. i disputed this and was told nothing could be done.

since i was having a very hard time finding a job, i extended my credit protection with all the documentation they requested. this is where it gets really bad. a few months pass and i start getting bills from the companies, then harassing phone calls at my moms house. i stopped that and gave them my number. i again sent in the documentation they wanted but nobody wanted to help. now the harrassment was on a daily basis 10-15 calls a day by these companies and they just keep adding charges. i closed both my accounts.

thank god i am working now, but they are calling my work number eventhough they have an address and email to contact me at. i requested yesterday for them not to call my work or i might lose my job. i requested an adjusted bill to what i owed before i went on credit protection. i was told they will call me and they are not adjusting the bill. i faxed over to both companies a cease and disist letter for the telephone calls and what i am disputing that should have been never charged to me.

i told them i am not trying to get out of paying these accounts and all my other companies have been great with me. they're calling me, i guess they dont want any money? i would tell everyone that you better beware when you are in a situation where credit protection is supposed to cover your bills. i dont know what else to do about them calling me and harrassing me. anyone have suggestions?? thanks for listening
