We hired PSL Moving and Storage to do a local move for us from a storage facility to a new home. One of their contracted "helpers" was supposed to show up on a Sunday at 8:00 am to do the move. He never showed up, which wasnt a real surprise since he called numerous times the day before trying to reschedule the time. When we called the owner of the company, Linda Sneed, and advised her of the situation, she assured us she would have her company take care of it ASAP. At 10:15, her 'assistant manager' Jerry showed up with another helper. Apparently, they didnt check the delivery truck as it was full of dirt, garbage and filthy mattresses and box springs.

After waiting 30 minutes for them to 'clean it out', they finally got to work. I've seen elderly patients in a nursing home move with more vigor than they did. After three hours on a job that took us 2 prior to this, they were supposed to deliver our belongings to our new home. 30 minutes later we get a call from the owner - the truck broke down on I95 with a major fuel leak. So, here we are, with no furniture, bedding, dishes, etc, after staying in a hotel for the past 10 days, with no way to stay in our new home. A mechanic was supposed to fix the problem, and we would be their first priority first thing in the morning.

After telling the owner we needed to go back to the hotel, she said she would pay for it, and attempted to get us to go to a roach motel. We declined and went back to where we just checked out of. The following day after several phone calls and texts, the truck FINALLY shows up at 12:30 pm. Glad we were first on their list...During the unload, the assistant manager was told to be careful with a moirror box that contained a beveled glass table top that goes to our living room set. What does he do? Pick it up from the wrong side with one hand. Three guesses as to what happened next...yep, the top slid out and busted all over the driveway.

After insisting the company would replace it, and another 2 hours of chaos, he gives me the bill without any discount! According to him, the owner paid for our hotel the night before, so that should be enough. Guess he didnt realize that if it wasnt for the unprofessional antics of the company, we would have never had to return to the hotel in the first place. They were unbable to get our sofa in the house, and finally after numerous attempts and removing hinges on doors, etc my husband told them to forget it. He asked if they could take the couch to get rid of it. They jumped at the chance, as the owner also has a furniture store, so they looked at that opportunity for her to make MORE money off of us.

Now today, the owner calls and wants the cushions from the sofa (see above explanation). When my husband told her that they were put out for bulk pick up today, she had the balls to tell him that there is a $150.00 deductible that we would need to pay towards replacing the table top. SERIOUSLY??????? We have moved 6 times in the past two and a half years. And although we did have an issue with a national moving company with damage to our property, this takes the cake.

This is the absolute WORST moving company with the total lack of professionalism, morals and ethics I have EVER had the displeasure of coming in contact with. Wish I had renewed my subscription to Angie's List prior to hiring them. I actually rebewed my membership with AL so I could let everyone else know to RUN from this company. Go figure - they never even made it to the list. They must have sped over to the bank to deposit the check as soon as they left my home. I'm sure they knew they didnt deserve a dime and figured I would stop payment. Shouldve put it on a credit card so I could have disputed the charges. STAY FAR, FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.
