After inquirying about a part time job there was an email regarding a job offer from this company. It sounded to good to be true and you know what is said,"If it sounds to good to be true it usually is". Then somehow I came across this website and found out that someone else had been approached by this same company. The email read:

I appreciate you e-mailing us. In case our ad was not extremely clear, the responsibilities of the position are as follows: you will be answering the main phone and taking messages when applicable, you will be scheduling our company meetings, and running errands for the company for things such as purchasing office supplies and making our bank deposits (you will always be provided with a company car). While you are running errands, you will also be given one of our company credit card(s) for all business purchases.

You are extremely qualified for this job opening, and more so than the other 9 people I received e-mails from. I want to find an available time to set up the next step with you. However, before I am able to set up an interview, my company requires that you acquire a fairly recent(past 7-10 business days) credit report. We, at PSX Corporation, enforce this because our company have unfortunately had some bad encounters with prior employees exploiting being able to access one of the company credit cards.

Both myself and the company strongly prefer it if you use http://freecreditreportusa247.com/ to acquire your report as they are offering the report at no cost to you(unlike other places). PSX has also discovered that their checks always report the most factual and accurate information.

Once you have submitted all of the required information, their company will show you your personal report. Then, you will need to e-mail me the reported credit score, a daytime phone number, and your availability times to set up an interview.
Do not email me the complete report, as it will contain private information. In the chance that you currently have a low credit score, it will never prevent you from employment. Personally, I had a fairly low score when I started.

If you do not wish to send in a recent credit check, unfortunately we will need to contact our second choice.
