I found a breeder on that sells maltese tea cups.

11-20-09 I purchased a female maltese pup from a Paul and Cheryl Howard from Claremore, Oklahoma, website or . I live in NYC. The puppy arrived sick with what I thought to be Kennel Cough as this is my second dog and am familiriar with the symptoms. She was also scratching one of her ears a lot and upon
inspection I found that the ear was filled with brown gunk compared to the
other ear which was completely clean. I notified the breeder immediately
that same afternoon when the dog arrived. Per the breeders contract I took
the puppy to the Vet the next day. The Vet found the dog to have kennel
cough, ear mites,hernia,medial patella luxation of her back leg. Breeders
contract does not cover costs associated with kennel cough (which is
understandable as most puppies catch it when they are little). However, his
contract did not cover the ear mites either and anything beyond that which
is congenital I would have to return the dog via american airlines paying
out of my own pocket (roughly another $300). I had the Vet provide medical
bills (to date it is now up to $500) in writing and also
his findings which I promply provided to the breeder the next day when I
took the pup for the check-up.  In turn the breeder wanted me to ship the
sick puppy right away. Not only would I have put the dogs life in danger
because of her grave state but by law american airlines prohibits the
shipment of sick animals.
The breeder told me to just use the health certificate that the dog came
with and AA would never know the dog is sick as its valid for 30 days. His
contract does not provide refunds, only replacements so I would ship the dog
back and hope that he replaces the pup with one that is not sick or with
congenital problems. Breeder was in breach of contract as the dog is not
healthy as he promised. I flipped out telling him what morals as a breeder
does he have to even suggest putting a sick animal through such an ordeal
and only then he said well then wait till she gets better and then send her
back for a replacement.  It took him 3 days to open the medical bills and
statement from the Vet that I emailed him and then started claiming that
American Airlines switched the puppies. He said the pup could not possibly
be what he sent me. 3rd day he also remembered to tell me that the dog he
sent me has a microchip. The contract I signed did not include a microchip
in the puppy. Nor did I pay extra for microchipping. He provided a chip
number and told me to run to the vet and scan my dog and if the chip is not
in the dog then its not the one he sent me. So like an idiot I ran to the
vet. The dog did not have a chip but the vet took the chip number down that
the breeder provided and contacted the manufacturer only to find out the
breeder gave me a false/fake chip number. I was promised an ACA registration
with the dog and did not get that either. I told him if the dog is
microchipped then where is the chip registration papers? He told me they
don't normally provide that documentation. Did not receive ACA registration
either which was part of what I was suppose to get per the contract. To date
I have not received any of the papers for my dog. BUYER BEWARE DONT BUY FROM THESE CROOKS!

Unfortunately I am a victim as well and had the same problems. So sad someone can use innocent animals for a scam! The new website is and they are using a different name on which is Annelise.

Request for Information on Okieteacups

I also have contacted this breeder in hopes of purchasing a puppy from him. They also had the dog I am interested in listed under 2 different names, they also had the breed mix of the dog different on the listings and the price was different on each dog.  I was hoping one of the other complaintants could tell me what the vets name and number is who signed the health certificate so that the dog could be shipped. I am suprised a reputable vet would allow a dog to be shipped that is not in good medical condition. If you could send me this I will call their office and inquire about the dog I would like to purchase before it is shipped. Also, let me know if you called the vet and what response you received. Also, has anyone called the animal control in this area to see if they have done anything about the situation since it sounds like there is a possibility of sick dogs.

It is now February 2010, 3 months after I received the sick puppy and still they have not had the decensy to send the papers for my dog. If you read their laughable reply they claimed they were waiting for me to return the dog which was a lie. I told them from the start (November 20, 2009) I want the papers. I even went as far as publically demanding on this board they send the papers for the dog. What is their excuse now?  The facts speak for themselves. STILL NO PAPERS...LIERS.. AND THIEFS WHO SELL SICK PUPPIES. Watch out for their dirty business practices.

I see you have nothing left to say regarding your dirty business tactics. So where are my papers???? Name calling is the least I can do after all that you have put us through both emotionally and financially. Anyone in my shoes would have probably done the same (name calling) if not worse after what you did. I have nothing to hide. I have all the proof in writing of what you did to me and my family. Still waiting for the papers after I have asked a million I am asking for it in public and will return to update this board so the public can see. If anyone is full of crap it is you..with the stories of missing dog, fake microchip, no papers, how I never asked for my papers?? I mean come on now. I have the dog for almost two months now and I havent bothered to ask for the papers because you are waiting for me to return the dog???? How real does that sound to you?? Give me a break! I have it all in writing how I have asked countless times for my papers since November 20, 2009 and I will not be forking another dime to send anything back to you. After all your lies you expect me believe anything that comes out of your mouth.??? You are not a breeder but a broker. Your pictures are all fabrications. If I would have found some background on you online besides your FAKE REVIEWS I would have saved my money!!! Fool me once shame on me...but not a second time! Let the public see exactly what you are selling!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

To The Howards:

Your replies are classic. From day one  (November 20, 2009) I have been asking for the registration papers for my dog since you neglected to send them when you shipped her. As I have tirelessly and countless times told you I will not spend another dime in shipping the dog back. Not only did you not have the courtesy of providing some kind of monetary refund on the price I paid for the dog due to all the money I spent in vet bills because of her arriving so ill plus what lays ahead when she is older and the additional cost I will have to bear for her surgeries due to her bad leg and hernia. All you did was call me a scam artist and provide lies about you trying to find a "missing dog" that never existed, and saying you were calling everyone under the sun for her where abouts which as I stated earlier you never bother to pick up a phone and notify anyone as everything you say are lies.  Lets not forget your infamous microchip which she doesn't have and the number that doesn't exist because you LIED and gave me a fake number as the chip company has CONFIRMED! That is why you cant even provide the registration papers for a chip that doesn't exist that you never put in any dog. I spoke to your VET and he confirmed you DONT MICROCHIP any of your dogs. Filthy lier! If I was a scam artist why would I bother notifying the PUBLIC of your DIRTY BUSINESS PRACTICES. You know the answer --because I am a poor consumer who got taken for a ride and I don't want the same thing to happen to someone else!!!!!!! RUN PEOPLE! You want me to return the dog, lets not forget at my expense people that it will be another $300 added to my amounting bills. For what??? So I end up empty handed for good??? I will not take the chances on what dirty tactics you will take upon me and my family once the dog is returned to you. Not to mention the poor and sad fate that awaits this animal once she reaches your dirty hands. Because you are not a breeder you are a BROOKER! I have told you over 100 times we are keeping her and give me her papers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GIVE ME HER PAPERS!!!!! GIVE ME HER PAPERS!!!!!! That is what I paid for, you are in breach of contract the moment you sent me a sick dog and no papers!!! We are keeping her despite us having to have dealt with her being sick for 3 1/2 weeks, no sleep, many agonizing hours of watching this poor small and defenseless animal suffer due to the poor and improper living conditions she was kept in and lets not forget the $500 in medical bills it costs us to wean her back to health. DID YOU HEAR ME I WANT THE PAPERS!!! Do I need to repeat that another 200 times. Its all in writing scum bags that ive been asking for the papers for this animal since she arrived.  I WANT THE PAPERS ALL OF THEM--- ACA AND THE CHIP YOU CLAIM SHE HAS!

 This woman is clearly making things up as she goes.  I haven't sent the registration because we are trying to replace the puppy for her since she is so unhappy.  She only needs to schedule the return flight and pay for it on her end and I will send her another puppy at my expence.  She would rather try to destroy my business than to worry about the puppy.  We have and always stated we would replace the puppy but you can see for your self that she is not worried about that. the only thing she wants to do is call names make up stories to try to make me look bad.  Shame on her.  She mneeds to do what our contract says that she plainly read and signed and agreed to.  But now she wants to scream foul.  I will always stand by my contract and abide by it.

It is now January 10, 2010. Dog arrived November 20, 2009. Where are my ACA registration papers I paid for???? Where are the microchip registration papers you claim the dog has??? To date none of these items have been sent to my home. HOWARDS - PUPEFIND.COM sent me a sick dog, I spent $500 in medical bills in order to treat the dog back to health. It took 3 1/2 weeks for her to get better and yet The Howards had no heart or consideration for what they put me throught. Still demanded I send the dog back, spend more money to ship it after I spent all that money weening it back to health and just trust and hope that they send me a healthy dog? Or actually ship a dog back to me?? I was conned once by PUPELUV.COM but not a second time. I have all documents available as proof of what was done to me. The fact that I still dont have any of the registration papers speaks volumes as to the disgusting business practices these people have. Run far far away! The claim they have no negative feedback on puppyfind after years in business but it is only because they immediately delete negative comments they get from all of us that get taken for a ride. Unfortunately Puppyfind is at fault for allowing them to erase remarks by buyers after they get scammed. I hope this saved someone from making a huge mistake. BUYER  BEWARE!!!!

The puppy was checked out by our vet before making the flight to her.  She read and signed the contract understanding that I only replace puppies with problems.  She assumed alot of things.  I told her if she was unhappy with the puppy that she could return the puppy and I would replace it. to this date she has refused to return the puppy.   She assumed that I said ship it back sick, which I never said.  I never said anything aboutAA not knowing the dog was sick. American Airlines rep told me that she had called them and that her buyers remorse was interfering with their work and I neede to handle it.  I told them I was trying to replace the puppy but she wouldn't do that. I have documentation to prove it.   As for the microchip, we microchip some of our puppies without the buyers knowledge to protect ourself from possible fraud, which could be  the case here.  The chip was good and why it was miscomunicated as being a bad #, I don't know.    There are so many ways for a breeder to get ripped of now days that we have to be careful.  She did some things in the begining that sent up red flags (like withholding her phone#s) but we sold her a puppy anyway.  The switch game is very common.  They buy 2 puppies and if 1 gets sick they try to grt both breeders to pay, or they have a sick puppy and buy another one and then take the sick puppy to the vet and tell the breeder that new puppy was sick when it got there.  She tried to get Pay-Pal to give her the money back but after they reviewed her case they found that I did what our contract says and refused to give her money back.   I will stand by my contract and replace the puppy if she will send this on back.

This is a Clear case of Buyers remorse and its a shame that people like her are out to ruin the reputation of honest people.
