Show customers why they should trust your business over your competitors...

I wanted to cancel my membership with, Pure Acai Berries/Performance Health USA, LLC before my trial was up. I've tried calling the number to the company(888-289-8740) only to recieve a message that says,"Due to a high volume of calls, the wait time is about 45 minutes. Then after telling me to wait, they hang up. I never get to speak with anyone. The same message has been playing for days. I now have a big bottle of the fake pills they are pushing, and a charge of $74.76 debited from my bank account. I've tried calling numerous times and get the same message, as well as, telling me to go to,, another fake site of theirs. I want to send these pills back, but I am afraid that I still won't get my money back, that I will recieve another bottle of the pills, and another $74.76 dollar charge to my account. I want my money back and I want to cancel any membership and shipments with these people. What do I do? I DO NOT want the product or the membership. They give us a 14 day trial without a choice as to whether we want the pills or not. That tells me that they know the pills are fake! I can't tell you how mad I am, and that I wish I had never seen their product advertised on my computer. Someone needs to do something about these people who I call internet thieves. Someone needs to help us all from falling into the hands of these kinds of predators. Yes, predators!

Their so called "healthy product" does not work, period. I tried it myself, my wife, and a friend of ours who got it around the same time we did. In fact, I gained some weight since I started taking their pills. Also, they add some subscriptions to a couple different sites which will appear monthly on your credid card. The only way to get rid of them is your credit card institution. Just call your bank and ask them to remove the charges.

Do not buy those pills! It is a scam. I've been there and I know first hand.

Customer Support Response

AUTHOR: Customer Support - (U.S.A.)

We appreciate forums such as RipOff Report that allow for customers of all products to vent or state their beliefs concerning a given product. We look at it as a great opportunity for us to share our vision and see it only as a positive. We understand your issue and acknowledge there have been others who have shared your same frustration. We recognize we are not perfect, but we are always seeking perfection.

We would like to take a moment and outline our whole marketing concept and emphasize it is very clearly outlined in our Terms and Conditions and made readily available and we actually require persons to verify it has been read BEFORE one chooses to take our sample. We offer Acai a tremendously healthy product, in a trial size, at a greatly reduced price, in order to allow more people an opportunity to try our healthy product that would otherwise never had had the chance. In doing so, our intent is that when an individual tries our sample, they can make a decision as to whether or not they would like to continue to receive the product on a monthly basis. If they like the product, they do nothing and the product continues to come each month. If they choose they no longer want the product, no problem, all they have to do is go to the web address on the bottle ( and simply cancel the product. This usually takes less than 5 minutes.

We strive to do everything possible to make the product cancellation experience as easy and fast as possible for our customers. In the spirit of good customer relations, we have created a specific avenue for all who wish to give their feedback directly to us by visiting our Customer Support website and clicking on the "We Want to Hear From You" button. We hope this helps to clarify any misconceptions and invite any and all to visit our Customer Support website (, available 24/7/365 a week, for more information.

I had the same problem. I kept calling and I finally got someone on the phone who canceled my account. Then, I got charged $5.95 and I thought it was a fluke until it happened again. I called again got a recording that stated to "leave a message", but the message box was full and it hung up on me. I called back and someone answered. The person stated the $5.95 was for a monthly newsletter (which I never received and never ordered). I called my bank and they issued me credits for everything and they are closing my account and giving me a new card. It's a bit of a hassle, but I think it's worth it.
