1/16/19 Cuban Doll (aka Cuban da Savage) concert at Georges nightclub in San Rafael. Doors opened at 7pm, last call at 10:45pm, Georges staff kicked everyone out of the club at 11:30pm. No appearance whatsoever by Cuban.
I have been to over 20 shows in 2018, a couple didn't happen or were cut short and I received an immediate automatic refund. After a few days of not seeing this I requested a refund through Eventbrite, which passes that request to the organizer, in this case Purple Lane Music. My request was denied. The reason was "no refunds".
Actually, not true, lack of a show is a breach of contract and I am due a refund. Oh well, we'll see what the CA Attorney General says.
BTW Cuban posted on her IG about the time of the show "Gettin money in the Bay Area" with a pic of her smoking a big blunt. No mention at all of the show. Classless.
