PVSEA Dive Rude Anti American Comments, Trying to hide their failures Puerto Vallarta, Internet

Yes we did get this review taken off trip advisor as it broke their guidelines on posting sexist, racist, religious and political opinions. Their guidelines. Not us being easily offended or not taking criticism.We have since been reliably informed that this was written by a competitor. What a surprise! How do I know this? Well, an American couple went diving with him, and although they thought the service was acceptable, they found the bad mouthing of our company and staff to be totally unprofessional and annoying. Thereafter, they happily dived with us many times and felt we should be aware of the situation. I am sure there is no proof of purchase for this so called trip, ie our company receipt with our logo on it, a bank transaction or a photo of the day. No, I thought not.

 So, if anyone is still in doubt, and to set the records straight, I will address each point to clear this matter up.

Firstly, our business partner is from Texas, so us being anti American is a crazy statement to make. Why on earth would we go into business with him and vice versa?

Secondly, our sexuality is not and will not be up for general discussion, especially not on our dive boat. We are comfortable in our own skin and people can come to whatever conclusion they wish on this subject. We wave no banners and create no waves.

Thirdly, Marc is a great guy and a superb instructor. He has lived and worked in Puerto Vallarta for the past 3 years and has many close American, Canadian and local friends. I have never heard him bad mouth anyone. Marc doesnt have it in his makeup. He loves diving and making sure our guests get the best out of their tour with us. When Marc read this report, he cried. It says everything he is not. Put Marc Pearsey into google and see what many people say about him.

Finally, we are all educated people who have no need to substitute swear words into our vocabulary. Maybe I can suggest that you could have omitted the word bloody from your idiotic posting!

Although this has been written by someone who neither knows us nor has never stepped foot on our boat, I will respond and defend our companies great and well deserved reputation.

Marc. He is a popular guy with great energy, which is why we employ him. He is as safe as houses and totally reliable. A scoundrel! His girlfriend, who he lives with, never mentions having to share their love nest with his daily conquests! In fact I would go as far to say that Marc is besotted with her and they are totally in love with each other. As for drinking the night before diving, Marc is far from stupid and never does this. Ever. We know and fully understand the risks and are not prepared to take them. When he does have a day off, he sometimes drinks in Harrys bar. Usually it is with his American, Canadian and local friends. No other English people go in there! Fact.The same goes for us. We work long hard hours with the business. We get to venture into town twice a month maybe, but never the night before diving and never into Harrys bar. We like to have fun as most normal people do, but for anyone to say they have 1^st hand knowledge of us and call us heavy drinkers, well, please never tell anyone again that you know us as you clearly do not. Maybe some people can be funny and fun to be with when they are sober! When we go out it is with our American and Canadian mates that we choose to be with. We simply like people for who they are and not where they come from.

By trying to be clever and accuse us of trying to suppress free speech when you have no clue as to what you are saying is pathetic and vindictive. Opinions are essential for adults to participate in life, but you really have to be sure of the facts before voicing them and have all of your ducks lined up in a row beforehand!

I was looking on the internet for a number to PVSEA dive and came across this report. I am firstly very sad to see it on the net and very sorry for the family that had this experience. But I know I can also sympathize with the post.

The instructor Mark is well known around PV, he is quite the scoundrel, bedding anything what will let him and of course as a regular at our local British themed pub "Harrys" he is know as quite the slosh. I often wondered how he can work the next day in the conditions he leaves Harrys.

I have also first hand knowledge of the ladies (the owners sue and marie) and they too are quite the tipsy heavy drinking types. I'm not a scuba diver and don't really know if this type of drinking the night before can hurt you or not. But I imagine like anything in life being hung over the next morning is not a good safe thing to do. With regard to slaming americans, that is the sport of the day at Harrys and have no doubt that this really happened on the boat as the original post stated. Im sure the "we brits hate americans, Americans are stupid" remarks were fast and furious on Pv Sea Dives Boat.

And yes being gay in Puerto Vallarta is the most common thing here.. so in that aspect the original post should have gotten over it or never have come here to PV in the first place

PVSEA Dive is a new operation in Puerto Vallarta, they will make mistakes and hopefully they realize the error of heaving drinking is not good for your image and as the original post said, bad mouthing your best clients is not good for business neither is trying to hide negative posts by having them removed.. Defend your reputation not try to suppress free speech.

Its early in the game for PVSEA dive and seems like a good housecleaning might be needed to avoid any further problems. An apology might be a good start and the realization that "image" is everything in business might go a long way.  Its amazing how an employee can ruin the image an owner is trying to establish and PVSea Dive should heed this as a very strong warning that their image is being damaged by actions outside of the realm of their work. I wish you the best of luck and hope your problems are resolved.
