"This child relative"? The way you write it I picture you holding the 3 words dangling from the end of a long stick, as though you'd get cooties by touching them? What type of relative? Niece/nephews? 2nd cousins? Grandkids? What are you? The curmudgeonly childless elder aunt or uncle who hates children, including your own close relatives?
And what exactly are the "jobs" you'd propose local schools seek to farm their kiddies out to do to raise funds? How old are these kids? It's one thing to expect middle school age kids to maybe do a lawn care or snow removal service for the elderly for such purposes, but there are safety, liability and insurance issue in expecting that from younger children.
And as for any jobs that would take place inside a house, like cleaning, etc, there are safety issues there too, unless the parents can be there to watch. Selling subscriptions doesn't involve all that. It's a fund raising scheme that keeps things simple.
Send you the school budget? You sound like a real pleasure to deal with. You'd think your "relatives" would have known better than to even try.

If being asked to purchase magazines for a school is this obnoxious why don't you actually post the RipOff report on the people that are sending you these e-mails, why not post one on the school that is running the fund raiser.  Or better yet why don't you make it a "teachable moment" and tell the kids exactly what you think of the fund raiser, I am sure you could come up with some way to make them understand.
