So I was sucked in by all the hype and advertising which seemed to follow me on ever website I was on so around say 2am one morning I checked out Quibids.  As an Microsoft Certified Engineer (not showing employer) I purchased 40 dollars of bids. Wasn't sure what it meant becouse the website as a new customer did not explain how it worked and left it up to me to try and find their community area where "numerous questions" are answered.  Well right from the start I used my brain and purchased these 40 bids which my definition and the companies was totally different but the company stated they had 24/7 even on Christmas support all I had to do was fill out a quick support ticket and it showed actual times that they would respond either by email or by phone and I choose by phone and when I started typing into the boxes that stated "Please state your issues" I started typing what mostly was newby items becouse I could not find their support where it assisted new users becouse I have never used a penny auction. Well while typing I noticed on the screen that the box my cursor was in had left the lined area and was typing into content the company had to the right of the box and so my 10 minutes of question I had typed 60% where outside the actual comment box and having knowledge that I have and building over 200-300 java enriched websites I new this was put together horribly and there was no other issue and yes there are alot of issues that compose a website just like this one heck the company you buy your IP from will offer to build a free website and if it needs like and auction with mutiple programs running, yes sometimes one or more programs go bad and its also a sign that a possible intrusion/hack has occured well they did not list a website or phone number to call which I would have paid the long distance, with my job I have 3 monitors that are 30" and on each one I had the active auction site live on one and my account on another with my Outlook minimized and a 3rd in which I was typing to support and while I scratching my head with the issues on the support contact page I noticed becouse someone rebids so fast you have to watch closely and I was learning just from watching about how the auction worked and at first I thought it was somones name that was close but then my Outlook started going crazy making noise with every new email and at first just a few but I stopped on the support site and started watching the auction site and I see my screen name which they checked when I setup my account that nonon else had that name and I see my screen name bidding and I also notice my purchased bids reducing and I opened up my Outlook and see (which I saved) around 20 or so notice emails that I just bid and next a email stating I was outbid and then a few that stated I won the first item it said I one was a chocolate ladies necklace with a value of $280.00 and then a few was one allowing me to win more free bids which were used but not by me and their were no bids left and I couldnt get ahold of the company and when I did  and told them what Im stating to all  of you is that thank god for American Express protection which I called them while it was all going on and they even logged in and attempted to contact their support like I did using my login and password becouse it was obvious that it was compromised and then about 3 months after this (now understand the hacker attempted to change my address for shipping and used my American Express which the company had saved in my account profile with "QuiBids" to attempt to ship the items that had been won and I watched all the rest of the night until I was finally able to cancel the account and change my address to a bogus address with assitance with American Express web assistance division, so anyways I get a phone call from a male who I figured was the owner as I paid to have the company checked out with the State Offices for registering the company and paid and private detective company to not only get me copies of all State Tax and Federal ID number and the original paperwork which they are not federally copyrighted protected under the name or alias as this private Company checked with IRS and all state, only thing that was something that caught the eye of the IRS was that the address originally used was a federal building not associated so they just pulled a what they thought was a business addresss and after 2 weeks I received the actual suite and pictures of employes coming and going at start of the day and lunch and ( I LOL when I found out how they obtained the pictures they put up a camera that is just like one used for a deer stand motion activated and it was so small the size of a tip of a ink pen and yet 12 megabit pics and I dont think the server is there or with them not having top or even middle line security hooked into a cable modem, various ways one can do it and they paid alot of money for comercials on tv and web is cheap on websites, but then after all I did the owner must of found out that American Express refunded my money back and gave them 30 days to argue against my and theirs findings well the 30 went by and I received a email with a ID number regarding the issue. The owner of Quibids started mailing me and invoice for the amount and I called this phone number thats not listed on their auction website and gave them the American Express Case number and his response for 3 months "Have your  bank call me " and I let him know that I included a 800 number and case number and  finally  the last contact I was asked well what can we do to make this right and I said it has been right, I stated that they didnt belive me even though I had screen shots of all items I have listed here and said that due to my current status, I served 4 tours in the Army in Afghaninstan and also Iraq but instead of coming home in a bag I came home missing some body parts I left behind . But I felt strongly that if he wanted to small claims this I would gladly hire counsel and told him I'm sure theres more of me and what happened to me with QUibids people out there.  Please contact me if you were affected by this company or any others as I have alot of time on my hands and am trying to find other companies that they started and ripping off thinking the internet is the wild west but they forgot that State Laws they are doing business in are tough on anything that makes them look like a fool .. God Bless and I truly hope this website is true to their bone if not its just going to be another ammo for taking these rip off artist down.  Good Luck out there and disconnted your internet if your a addicted type person becouse they have struck into the brain and found something that is worse that crack!

I also believe that Quibids is a scam! Now, I have never used the site myself, but I am smart enough to know better. My comment today is aimed at this poor vet that was taken by the company. Your whole damned response/complaint was nothing but unintelligible gibberish! I really wanted, and wholeheartedly tried to read and understand your report.... but seriously?!? After reading your 1300 word long run-on sentence FIVE times, I am still at a loss as to what exactly you are complaining about. It's as if you took your story, threw it in a word document, scrambled the words, and then copy and pasted onto RipoffReport.Com

I have a d**n headache now!
