GREAT TV ADVERTISEMENT, LURES YOU INTO THEIR www.quibids.com WEBSITE...

NOW, WHEN YOU REGISTER TO TRY THEIR PRODUCT YOU MUST PURCHASE A MINIMUM OF 100 "BIDS" (@ $.60 CENTS PER BID) THAT WILL COST YOU $60.00 ON YOUR CREDIT/DEBIT CARD...THAT'S A LOT OF MONEY!

LET'S PLAY THE GAME...WHEN YOU BID ON A LISTED ITEM YOU NEED TO UNDERSTAND THAT E-V-E-R-Y T-I-M-E YOU PRESS THE "BID" BUTTON, YOU AND EVERY OTHER BIDDER JUST SPENT .60 CENTS EACH OF YOUR SO-CALLED (MONEY) BIDS! COLLECTIVELY, THE TEN BIDDERS JUST SPENT $6.00 OF THEIR MONEY BECAUSE THEY PRESSED THE "BID" BUTTON ONE TIME...

NOW COMES THE PSYCO PART OF THIS GAME...EVERY TIME A BIDDER PRESSES THEIR "BID" BUTTON, THE BIDDED ON ITEM (ON SCREEN) SHOWS A VALUE INCREASE OF ONLY ONE PENNY! WOW! THIS LOOKS LIKE AN AWESOME DEAL BECAUSE LET'S SAY HYPOTHETICALLY, IF THE TENTH BIDDER SOME HOW WON THE AUCTIONED ITEM ON THE TENTH BID, IT LOOKS LIKE THEY WON THE ITEM FOR ONLY 10 CENTS, WHEN IN REALITY (COLLECTIVELY, BEHIND THE SCENES) ALL BIDDERS PAID $6.00 IN BID MONEY, BECAUSE NONE OF THE BIDDERS GET THEIR BID(S) MONEY BACK IF THEY DON'T WIN THE AUCTION.  BUYER BEWARE...IF YOU WANT TO TRY THIS SCAM OUT, IT'S GOING TO COST YOU $60.00 OF YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY...MOST LIKELY, YOU WILL LOSE YOUR MONEY TOO! GOOD LUCK...YOUR GONNA NEED IT...

Actually...

In a legitimate auction, you do not risk anything above what you bid and if you lose it does not cost you what you bid.

In a gamble, if you lose it costs you. It is not really a good "investment" if you lose an auction and then they tell you what THEY are valuing an item at and give you the opportunity to buy it at full retail or higher. It is a gambling website no matter how you slice it and like the rest will soon be shut down unless they advertise it as what it is...a GAMBLING website, not an alternative way to shop. It is for GAMBLING and ENTERTAINMENT purposes only. Well that is if you consider losing money a form of entertainment.

Bidding Procedure

AUTHOR: J4me10 - (USA)

POSTED: Tuesday, February 28, 2012

When bidding in auctions on QuiBids, you never have to lose!  Though bids placed in auctions are not returned, you never have to lose an investment. If you win an auction, you will have the opportunity to obtain the item for up to 90% off retail!  If you lose in an auction, the Buy Now feature is available in every auction so that you can apply your investment towards the total value of the item. For example, if you bid an investment of $30 in an auction for an item valued at $50 and do not win, you may apply this investment towards the Value Price of an item when utilizing the Buy Now feature. So, in this case you have the opportunity to pay an additional $20 to receive the item at it's valued price. This feature ensures that QuiBids users always have the option to receive an item when participating in an auction, and never have to lose any money invested. By winning auctions and always utilizing the Buy Now feature in auctions that are not won, you will always be saving money on QuiBids. Hopefully this helps provide some clarification regarding your issue! Please don't hesitate to contact support@quibids.com with any other questions or concerns you may have.

Honestly what did you expect?....

They are a BUSINESS...not a charity. And a gambling website.. How could they possibly survive if they actually sold merchandise for pennies on the dollar? Think about it and read their terms again assuming you did the first time?

Place bids and win!Click the 'Bid' button to place a bid. Every time you bid, QuiBids deducts one bid from your Bids Account, and adds time to the clock. This allows other users a chance to bid because, well, that's pretty much how an auction works.  (does eBay work this way??????)

If you are the last bidder when the timer reaches zero, YOU WIN! If you need to leave your computer to use the bathroom, pick your kids up from school or go swing around and fight crime because you are Spider-Man then don't worry. You can use the Bid-O-Matic to place bids for you. It's the QuiBids version of autopilot.

(Brilliant...for them. It automatically sucks your lifeblood while you are in the bath room. Thank you so much Quibids for fleecing gamblers while they take a dump.)

Key Word In Rebuttal #1 "If You Win"

AUTHOR: Dan - (United States of America)

POSTED: Saturday, February 11, 2012
The key word in Rebuttal #1 is "if you win" the auction.  The example "$50.00 Value" item the Author is referring to is generally a featured item like a gas card, gift card for a store/restaurant, or maybe 50 quibid (should be a conflict of interest) bids etc...

However, the item I was bidding on in my above mentioned Ripoff Report regarding my Quibids experience, turned out to be "valued" at $600.00, which means after losing my initial $60.00 investment in the auction I was bidding on and lost, I could have purchased the featured product for only $540.00 more... WOW! How cool is this? Now, I had no clue that the actual valued purchase price for the featured "pots and pans" were valued at SIX HUNDRED BUCKS! Quibids auction doesn't let you know the "valued" price for the item you were bidding on until after you lose the featured auctioned item, to me personally, that's deceptive...

Or...even better...

AUTHOR: Ronny g - (USA)

Just go to the store and by something and avoid the mess. Leave the gambling to the losers. Whatever it is they are so generously giving you the opportunity to "buy it now" is probably available for much less at a legitimate online source for goods or a retail store.

Then you can invest the money you saved in the bank instead of giving to a gambling website.
