A group of individuals visited local high-schools in the Lincoln Parish area talking about their SuperKids program for gifted and talented kids. The program event was to take place in Shreveport, LA on June 12-14, 2014 at the Ramada Inn.  The Ramada Inn is located at I-20 and Industrial in Bossier City which is joined to Shreveport via the Red River. The cost for kids to participate was 150.00 per child and parents had to sign a permission slips before June 12.  There would be no on-site registration. Well, early the morning of the event , about 7am, I received a call from Marcus stating the event had to be rescheduled due to a crisis that had come unpon Ashley Hill, the director.  Her grandmother was supposedly takane to the hospital and through the night she become unreponsive. However, Marcus stated that the money was going to be refunded to the parents. After that I could not reach anyone affiliated with the event. I called the Ramada Inn to verify that my grandson had a room reserved and the Sales Event rep said she could not give me that information.  so I went on to the hotel at around check-in time and no one was there. Not a single child. I asked the person at the front desk, who happened to be name Ashley, what was going on and she replied that she did not kow.

Let me back up a little. on Moday, June 9, 2014, Quinton Cook called my daughter from Cash Express in Monroe, LA to verify her check.  He said they needed to get the money together to make the deposit at the Ramada Inn in Shreveport/Bossier City. So, why were they in Monroe when the even was taking place in the Shreveport area. Coming forward, I have not been able to reach anyone since June 12, 2014. I even tried to call just to check to see how Lillie Mae Hill, the suppose to be grandmother, was doing and no one called me back or anything.

On yesterday my daughter decided to leave a message on Quinton Cook's phone, 318-294-2061, asking was this a scam. Then, in fear of being busted, he called her immediately trying to discuss but had an attitude. Til today there have been no refunds.  Quinto stated that he had to call 75 kids about the cancellation.  Well, 75 x 150 is $11,250.00 that was ripped off.  They said they have conducted similar events in other states.  It is time for tem to be stopped.

Other information: Ramada Inn located at I-20 and Industrial. The number is 318-747-0711. Once again, it is very strange that the Sales Rep whobooks the hotel events, is named Ashley. the same as the SuperKids director. I have text messages from Quinton and Marcus.  My daughter has vey recent text messages as well.
