When I signed up with Qwest Centurylink I asked the costumer service lady if there was any contracts in evolved if I signed up for the service. I was told no it is month to month. I said, "Good I will sign up then." 

Then I had contacted Centurylink numerous times because I had very slow internet. When I did the on call service  they kept telling me oh it is normal for your internet to be much slower then what you paid for because of having wireless. I was like what it does not make sense because my internet took for ever to even upload a page.

Then my internet got even slower then it was, so I called tech support. They tell me oh yes that is normal because we have allot of congestion in that area and we are aware of that problem and it will be fixed in three weeks.

I asked why was I not told there was a major congestion problem with the internet when I signed up? He said agents are not aware of it. I was steamed to say the least. I felt they should know and be honest with the costumers.

Then the problem gets worse so I decide to change providers. I call  and tell the lady I want to close my internet account with them. Then she looks up my account and tells me I have a year contract and I was like what!!

So she sends me over to a guy who deals with upset customers. I told him I wanted to stop my services with Qwest Centurylink and now I am told I have a year contract with you guys when," I specifically asked before I signed up if there was a contract deal and, she told me no!!"

The guy told me I needed to read the fine print on my statements. I got even more upset. I told him that I made sure there was no month to month contract or I would not be here talking to you. I called in several times because of congestion with my internet and it was severely slow.

So the Qwest Centurylink guy asks me how many times I called and I told him several. He said the first time you called was last month and I said I called your online support too. He sad well If you would of told me a month after your service I would have let you out of the contract.

I was very upset, and he said, "I can only cut your bill in half."  I said, "fine angry and hung up the phone." The my line starts to cut in and out constantly now. So I called them again and they told me if I would have bought their wireless modem it would solve my problem. "What  rip off!"

My internet is still slow and cuts in and out constantly, and got no resolve on anything. I was tricked into a contract that is not right by this company. I was told my service would be better with their wireless modem so now I am stuck with an in and out connection.

This company Was not honest with me when I signed up that they had problems in this area with to many users and not enough power to support all the customers So result is a very slow internet connection.

This company should be responsible for employee's giving out false information and locking costumers into contracts. I want out of this contract and no longer would recommend this company it has been a headache for me in so many ways, and a waste of my valuable time.
