 Radisson Hotel Orlando - Lake Buena Vista 12799 Apopka Vineland Rd Orlando , FL 32836 +1 407 597-3400 3/24/2017 3/15/2017 We booked a room at the Radisson expecting the normal stay at the Radisson and that's usually Pleasant having just had surgery I asked for a handicap room it was scooter accessible on the first floor we booked the room before our trip the people on the phone were, dating and I even called the hotel to verify that we were all on the same page when arriving at the hotel I find out that they sold out of the first-floor rooms in the longer have a handicap room but they upgraded us on the 7th floor and a little tiny room that had a great big garden tub inside the room this is a key Point I've been told about 10 times how thankful I should be to have been given the garden tub although having surgery it is not something I care to soak in so the room I was given was on the seventh floor at the end of the hallway right next to the freight elevator extremely noisy spot on spring break weekend I told Steph repeatedly that I had empty food trays deposited in front of my door making it very difficult to leave the room my wife did use the garden tub with sleep better carpet soaking wet the morning we were ready to leave at checkout a young lady and a Gentleman and training smiled and said if we had used your members number in your rate would have only been 120 we paid 214 I asked for a manager so we could address the situation in the manager was not currently at the facility we proceeded to travel home knowing I could make a phone call and discuss the matter with the manager my first phone call was greeted with the manager Lisa she was less than nice and explain how thankful I should be tipping given a garden tub and she wasn't changing any rate based it was spring break weekend I then called corporate and spoke with corporate and they filed a tracking number in a claim the next day the general manager Bob calls me I could tell that Bob has the form letter version of getting rid of customers he says I'm going to Discount your rate $50 and that's the end of it to me I'm not happy there Steph told me I could have got the room for 120 had they followed their procedure plus the fact that they gave away our handicap room and shut the room closet makes me less than happy with stay to the Radisson Orlando I will be sure to go on every online travel company I can find TripAdvisor Yelp and I will write my experience as it's been horrible more than horrible and I've been wrong over $100 a night which makes me less than happy I didn't even begin to tell you that the restaurant in this hotel is horrible we ate there in the food was cold and you could tell as empty as the place was other people have expressed their same visit I would say that because this facility is close to Disney it gets lots of business no matter how it treats people or how it Rob them but I figured I would at least post my view on my way home I stopped at a Red Roof Inn it was as nice as the Radisson and the people were very happy to have us and very polite I think it was $61 and it wa a better visit then I experience at the raddison My call to corporate I was told the debts an independent hotel and they have no control over their rights or how they treat people please take my advice and stay as far away from here as you can
